Yes, thanks Rydain, your guides are amazing. Im just starting on getting the treasures, as I havent had a whole lot of time to play the game. I had trouble getting Orochi 4 moonstone. Maybe the key is to not play the level on hard with level 10 characters :P

I think most of these will be pretty dang easy to get if you were to play on easy with high level characters. But im trying to get 4th weapons and level people up at the same time, so ill most likely have more difficult getting some of these, as I am multi tasking ;)

I tried tenbu with 3 characters.
One of them are Gracia, Ma Chao, and Yue Ying. Plus sometimes I don't complete my weapons. Because of Agility 10 you can't do anything except the first attack. But you can keep Agility 10 with Ma Chao since you can mount Red Hare or Matsukaze and he can do is attacks in horse from the Dynasty Warriors with elements.

With Agility 10, you can do more than the first attack - you just have to mash the Square button very, very very quickly. It's much easier to complete a full attack string when you start it in a slow motion frame (kill any playable character and during the slow motion - try to continue the string, you'll see it works).

Try my weapon FAQ.  I'm working on an update with more descriptive instructions (now that I can read all the in-battle messages) and official translations of general names and some terminology that I had to guess at before.

Yes, Rydain's Weapon FAQ is really helpful. I wouldn't know what to do without it. I got all the treasures. Thank you Rydain. ;)

Although I think there is a tiny error with the treasure #26. I think you have to kill the guys from the central garrison too before beating Ranmaru and his crews.

No, I killed them after Ranmaru and co. It works.

What I didn't have to do - which no other guide specified (and the in-game guide is deceptive) - is defeat No. All I had to do was kill Ranmaru and co., and the central garrison group. The in-game guide says 'the famous enemy officers', which used to mean any playable characters on stage. That was frustrating.

Either way it works but you have to kill the generals in the central garrison.

I went for No too. The treasure guide was misleading with that one. I thought they were Mitsuhide, Ranmaru and No when I tried it the first couple of times.

I didn't go for No. It was a hunch. She's too far from Ranmaru and it only made sense that you were to kill all the officers that were with Ranmaru.

Is anyone else finding that the treasures are really easy to get?

I've got a bunch just in my first playthrough, and the ones I thought would be tough have proved to be rather simple. Even though I have access to the guides here and Rydain's FAQ, I'm just using the in-game hints to get them.

One strange thing though, even though I managed to pick up the necessary treasures for certain skills, I still can't select them to add them to a weapon. I only have Guile and Firepower available to add

I'm thinking that it has something to do with the needed weapon ingredients, but I thought I had those already  I'll have to check on that ...

Yeah it should be the weapon skills that are missing, because other than that, there shouldn't be any problem...

you first need to "buy" the skill first, as I like to say. You go to the weapon upgrade select. In which there are three choices, skill upgrade(i dont think its called that), weapon fusion, and weapon upgrade. Select the first, in which in order to obtain one skill/tenbu/enchanement(whatever the f*** you want to call it), you must exchange for a weapon you have gained from any character, it just has to have the right attributes in order to exchange it. But its only good for one, so if you want to use the same skill on two people, then you must exchange two weapons with the necessary attributes, on so on and so forth. Then you can go to the third select option, weapon upgrade to attach it to any weapon of any character.
And once you have attached it to a weapon, and you decide to fuse that weapon into another, dont forget to switch over the skill, unlike the attributes, the skills dont cost to switch over.

...

For the most part, I found the final 6 treasures relatively easy to get (though that was due to alot of helpful aids). The most confusing for me were Mikatagahara (again, I kept going for No and pursposefully avoiding Ranmaru's buddies) and Shizugatake (I'd never even seen Xun You be a messager until I actualy tried; that and I kept killing Yuan Shu right off the bat).

What's harder for me is, oddly, getting the right ingredients. For some reason I cannot get any weapons with Absorb! It's like - buh?!

This is probably the noobyist question ive ever asked about WO2, but once you obtain a treasure, you dont have to obtain it again once you use it to create an enchantment do you?

Nope, once you obtain a treasure, it is always available to add to any weapon. You just have to acquire the needed weapon ingredients (i.e. weapons with the right attributes) everytime you want to add it to a weapon.

@ Jasonic: So, based on what you're saying, I basically don't have the right weapon ingredients to "buy" or exchange for the skill since I have acquired the treasures necessary for it. That's what I figured, but I thought I had the needed weapon ingredients as well :/

No.

The only things you will have to obtain again is the element requirements to create said enchantment.

Fast Honda is fast.

But now with Sun Wukong :ph43r:

Since I unlocked him the other day, I am so tempted to begin my treasure hunting (the ones I didn't get through normal playthrough).

Maxing out Sun Wukong will make collecting all the treasure and weapons SO easy :D

I have about 4 or 5 more treasures to get. I just got about 12 today, high leveled Taigong Wang, Fu Xi and Yoshitsune Minamoto makes it a breeze ;)

@Honda: you obviously havent fused any weapons yet if you cant even get Iron Will or Guile  I seriously dont see how you cant get any yet. Guile only takes one flame attribute to get, and only 1 brave for Iron Will.

I got Guile and Iron Will in my first playthrough, not very useful but I put them on to test it out

See, that's just it ... I have fused weapons, many of which have Brave on them.

Ok, just looking at Rydain's FAQ for a few minutes ...

I can get Guile but not Iron Will (haven't played Shu story yet :P ) and I can get Fire Power.

The one that was confusing me was Nutrition because that's the first time I noticed that acquiring the treasure didn't unlock the skill (I don't have a weapon with Absorb AND Drain)

So, after actually completing Wu & Shu stories, I should have a few more skills available ;) I noticed though that I did miss some rather easy treasures early on in the stories I have played  That's what I get for trying to focus on abilities then ... I must have ignored the missions :/

So yea, sorry for the trouble. I just didn't really take the time to sit down and figure this out until now -_-

Hey I was only on here a couple days ago asking about the same things :P I really didnt fully understand the whole tenbu thing untill a day or two ago. I also made the mistake of not worrying about treasures while playing through, some I actually completed, but didnt bother to go get it out of the box or just forgot about it, because I really didnt see them as that important at the time.

My problem was I thought I had already acquired the necessary ingredients to add more of these skills, when in fact I did not. I didn't want to waste any playing time to try and research it :P

I only casually glance at the Upgrade Skills screen after I fuse my weapons, and since I rarely use some of those weapon elements, they are discarded before I check to see if I can exchange them for skills :/

From now on, I'm going to try looking a bit harder before I fuse more weapons, especially once I go back with Sun Wukong to hunt for the missing treasure ^_^

Who needs Sun Wukong  When I got Ma Chao and level 10 Cavalry(Red Hare)
I got finished getting all my treasures today. Got them all on one try, really easy, especially on easy difficulty. I went through the last five, without even getting knocked off my horse, which is hard to do in this game. I really hate how easy it is to get knocked off, arrows knock you off before they hit you, and a hit from a peon can get you from about 15 feet away, its ridiculous.
I did get really pissed at Chi Bi, because i beat Da Ji and Keiji within 6 minutes and never got the treasure. I waited for about 5 more minutes, then said forget it, and went to defeat Orochi X, but then when i almost killed him, the treasure message finally came up, was a close one.

Finally used the system with a couple of archer characters and the Firepower skill.

Pretty easy system to use, just takes awhile to get the right weapon ingredients if you don't want to sacrifice your best weapon just to get the skill :/

After equipping Firepower for Ina and SSX, I noticed a difference :D My beloved Ina is back in her SW2-like dominating form. And I found it hard to switch characters when playing Shu story as SSX, Liu Bei and Guan Yu. I wanted to C4/C6 > L+R1 spam with SSX the whole time ^_^

I just equiped Almighty to Ma Chao, and wow :o it is pretty powerful. No one is a match for him, even on the hardest level on Chaos. It makes you kind of not want to use musou or R1 as it stops the Almighty. But its fun, i can see how it would get dull after a while though, as there is just no match for you.

For the fun of it, I'll equip certain upgrades to certain characters that suits them, like:

Firepower- Huang Zhong, Xiahou Yuan, SSX, Masamune (?), Magoichi (?) and Ina

Nutrition- Xu Zhu, Meng Huo
