For the fun of it, I'll equip certain upgrades to certain characters that suits them, like:

Firepower- Huang Zhong, Xiahou Yuan, SSX, Masamune (?), Magoichi (?) and Ina

So far, I have Firepower on HZ, XY, SSX and Ina. I must put them on the gunmen now :o They are so broken already, I love archers in this game, especially when I can dish out, in more than equal measure, the pain back to enemy archers :ph43r:

So I put Almighty on all of the Other 2 characters. Pretty fun, but I've observed, Taigong Wang doesn't need agility.

Hi guys, okay I've just started playing this recently and apparently, I am somewhat confused by this new thing about Weapon Upgrades.

I understand that you need Treasures and specific Weapon enhancement to get a skills, am I right?
Like..

(Example)
Jade + Flash 1 + Flame 1 = SKILL

Okay I meant to ask, if I used a Final Weapon with that "Flash" and "Flame" to merge with "Jade", will that weapon disappear? What will happen? What will change?

- And one more, does the treasure stack? Like, if I got Jade already, then I play the stage once more to acquire another Jade, will I have Jade x2? >.> This was not shown, I believe.

Thanks for any help!

When you create an enhancement, the weapon does dissapear and you get 1x the enhancement...
Also, the treasure dosen't stack, you only need to unlock them once and then you beggining making the enhancements related to it presuming you have all the other necessary treasures :hehe:

Doesn't stack? Allow me to clarify;

Is it correct to say that once I have unlocked Jade (for example), I do not have to unlock it again for other characters?

Correct. Once you get a treasure, it's yours for good.

Ahh! Thanks! Well that certainly saved a lot of troubles lol.
Okay another question;
For Treasure "Venturine" I think, it says on some stage that I have to "thwart enemies plans and defeat the mastermind".
I believe in Shu's one stage where Himiko made her flight.. I defeated Da Ji and every plans of hers thwarted. I did not get the report. I did something wrong?

Something weird is happening during my Almighty farming...

I use Lu Bu, Keiji and Tadakatsu. Why those three? I dunno, they were the first in my file to have it I guess.

Anyway, after my SW-1 runs, I notice a pattern with the weapons I get.

Lu Bu doesn't get Flash often
Keiji doesn't get Brave often
Tadakatsu doesn't get Absorb often

Is it like that for other characters? At least at the end of my runs, I am able to create at least one almighty, but not often have I been able to create two, or better, three.

Oh by the way Mr Honda. I also gave Nutrition to Nene. A proper mother must provide nutrition! :XD

I have also noticed that some characters dont often get certain attributes with weapons you collect. Like at times when using the same three characters, Ive had one with Ice at 10 and everytime I got a new weapon, it seemed to always give me ice when I obviously didnt need it. Then Ill have another character with ice at 2, and played through about 5 levels in a row without getting any weapons with ice. Its quite weird, the luck of getting certain attributes varies with different characters.

Innate elements. Like one could expect Ginchiyo to always get weapons with bolt on it.

I doubt it's that simple though.

Hey guys, disregard my previous question as I have already found the appropriate link in the other section lol. However, there's another thing which I am unsure. I seek help.

I meant to ask;

If I had upgrade a LEVEL 1 weapon with Teamwork, and then, I intend to merge it with a LEVEL 4 weapon, can that skill be moved?

Yes you can, its not really obvious though. When fusing attributes like Fire, Ice, Slay etc.., simply just push the right or left arrow button, and you will be able to switch it to the new weapon at no growth point cost.

EDIT: or is it one of the (L1,L2,R1,R2) buttons :wacko: , I havent played in a while.

Yes. I was forced to do that when my Taigong Wang was TOO fast with Almighty. I had to get another 4th weapon and remake it, but I was able to move Almighty from my old weapon without it costing any EXP.

Err I do not get your replies. Sorry about that. What I do mean was.. Like I had teamwork on Level 1 weapon, and I intend to move it to a Level 4 weapon.

Can I do that just like those normal atrributes (Slay, Fire, Ice etc) or do I have to do all over again?

Yes you can move it over. When you are fusing a weapon, and looking at attributes you want to switch over, press the right arrow button and it will show the skills.

just give it a try and if you are still confused, then I dont know how else to explain it :wacko:

To make an enchantment, you must first obtain the treasure needed to make it. There is a treasure to be obtained in most story mode levels.

I also did that to Sun Wukong, but I wasn't able to transfer the Teamwork skill, until now. That actually helped.

i hav every single one of my chars equiped with tenbu, bt for 1 thing i remove is the flash ability, coz tenbu spoils the fun with flash, i remove it for challenging purpose, there are a few times where i rush into officer crowds and get kill, compaired to last time i won even get a single hit

Highflier FTW ... it gives PWR & TEC characters the ability to jump cancel like the SPD characters. Makes it easier to combo with them.

Teamwork allows you to use the Triple Musou without needing your health in the red ^_^

Firepower is for the bow/gun users and it makes their projectiles stronger.

Some of them have no real benefit to them, but these are the ones I used ^_^
