Often :XD , when one character reached another level, its time to change to another member, allways the same method in both games and in all stages :P .

Well, if I'm playing as three characters I hate to raise their proficiencies, I usually switch each time they raise a proficiency level.

Otherwise, I play as generally one character, particularly if it's a character I like.

I switch every couple of minutes. That irritates me when I do it though. I just cant seem to stop. Even though I really want to and just try to play solo for once.

Almost always...
If i'm playing to level up someone, i get my Orochi lv99, Another and the level up target ( the one i want to level up ;D). Kill every General with Orochi(in Chaos) the get the weak to pick the EXP...
If i'm playing for fun, i switch my team to make good combos (meanwhile Sakon uses the third charge, with the enemy flying, Kunoichi do her lovest and latest charge attack, then finish with my Nagamassa and his last charge too...)
This is just one of my team, i really like it ;D

I only do it occasionally, to let the musou of the others increase so I can use the R1 moves!

I rarely switch between characters. Usually I play a character for a whole level especially when I am trying to max them out.

Always, and in the middle of musous, so that they can all have some fun.

I don't often switch them. But I don't understand that musou doesn't charge anymore when you hit people. Only when the character is not in use?? Or do I have to be level 99 to have that feature active for a character?
I love WO2 but that is my only nitpick cos i don't switch characters very much. I play it like DW haha.

I switch when the character I'm using is in low health and out of Musou (Triple Attack Abuse).

Also, when the character I'm using is Level 99, I use a character wit a lower level than 99.

Lastly, when one has 100+ K.O. count already, I make the switch.

Rarely. I'm at the point of simply grinding, so I take a character, gain ten proficiency and then switch. It's...tiring, but it makes it very easy to keep track of just how much more proficiency I need.

I don't switch characters. I generally prefer to play with one character. For the next Warriors Orochi game, it would be nice to adopt the same system as Samurai Warriors: Chronicles.

It depends, but generally a lot.. Usually when a character levels up (or when their HP gets low).

Does anyone have an answer to my question posted above? Do you not load musou from just melee attacking in this, as is the case in the original DW & SW series? Or do you have to be level 99? I only switch because of loading musou, otherwise I wouldn't switch often.

I generally switch after a member of my team defeats an officer. You know, I hate to see that one of my warriors becomes a glory hog by defeating the most officers in a level, so I've made it a rule to even it out.
I also switch characters a lot on hard/chaos mode (to save my butt!) and also when one of my characters uses up his/her musou and doesn't have time to charge.

FOr me, I would usuallyt switch characters on these conditions:
1. Every 100 K.O.s
2. Once I activate their strategy
3. Musou is depleted
4. My life bar is less than half
5. Once I acquire their ability
6. Once I upgrade their proficiency
7. If the characters on my team can do a "chained attack" (After something like a C3, I would switch to chain attacksa dn so forth)

So, quite a lot of times, I would say.

I rarely switch, unless the three characters that I selected are my favorite characters. I try to max out a character that I already played before jumping to the next one to avoid confusion and to make it look organized. My only drawback with this is when I get a low HP, I have no choice but to switch characters and then look for an item to regain my life.

I switch character when my life gauge is dying or just want to recharge my musou. Sometimes I switch for the sake of it; bored.

I usually only switch when I need to restore the musou bar.
Especially when I have Almighty equipped and pressed the Circle button by accident.

Honestly, it depends on who i have to use, e.g. in WO, in Shu Story Mode, chapter 1 - Ueda Castle, you only have the three characters, so i switch straight to Xing Cai, and don't switch back

If i have 3 good characters - e.g. Wu 5x onwards, i will switch often between SSX, Noh and Kunoichi!
