Scroll over "Preferences" nearby the banner up top and click on "Update Profile from drop down box. This will lead you to a new page with a list of options, input whatever you want in "Member Title" and click on "Save Profile Changes" to wrap it all up.

EDIT: As Burning Skulls just said :P

If you're altering the request then the waiting period is not necessary. This of course assuming that the request hasn't already been fulfilled by someone. If someone has completed your request then post in the thread that you're satisfied with it and would like for it to be locked then you may lodge another request seven days later.

Yes, bumping is allowed as long as it contributes discussion to the topic and, if supplying info related to the topic, the info is new. Old info doesn't do anything to help spark discussion. Needing assistance with something pertaining to the topic and adding news or new articles are good examples of passable bumping. Just saying "I like this game. It's a lot of fun. I enjoying hacking people up with Lu Bu." isn't a good bumping, since it really doesn't warrant a reply from another user. It does nothing for the discussion.

Sorry to get all wall-of-text with my response, but you get the idea. As long as it contributes positively to discussion, it's allowed.

I have a question. Why isn't there a delete option? Like you can delete a post that you didn't mean to put up.

I have a question. Why isn't there a delete option? Like you can delete a post that you didn't mean to put up.
I think the reason for that is so users don't abuse the privilege. If you could delete any post, it could hamper the continuity of a discussion. We'd have people quoting posts, but then that post would later disappear. It'd make topics rather messy. That's why you should always post what you intend to in the first place.

Remember, there's always the Edit option. If you typed something you didn't mean to, you can always replace it. If you want the post deleted, let a moderator of the section know via PM so it can be deleted. We just want discussions as clean and cohesive as possible, is all. With the Edit option, it eliminates the need to delete in the first place, and you can type what you meant to type.

Hope that helps. There may be another reason, and maybe an admin knows, but that's my general idea as to why we don't allow deletions. :)

To add to what MX said, say if you accidentally double post or respond in the wrong topic, you can always edit the duplicate or wrong post and write in "Mod please Delete" or something along those lines. Then send one of us GM's or the moderator in charge of the forum a PM with a link to your unintended post, then we can delete it for you! ;)

I don't think there's a rule saying you cannot post in a topic that hasn't been active for 3 months.

I'm sure it's ok to post in a topic that hasn't replied for 3 months, as long as it's relevant. :)
