What do you do for fun?

As the topic title suggests what do you do on the game when playing for fun? (eg. when NOT trying to get special items, or train up, or unlock something...).

I like to take my LV99 characters on hard and give them a 4th weapon with no elements on it. (or something useless like 1 rage or something).

I think this makes a good(fun) challenge just trying to complete a level such as wu-5-x.

You will need to fight with your allies and it makes you feel less powerful and more vulnerable, you kinda feel like the generals on your side and the enemies side are equal in power to yourself... give it a go, it brings back the memories of the hordes you had to face on hard in DW2.

Now what do YOU do to give yourself a decent challenge when chaos mode gets so easy and tedious that you can kill orochi in your sleep?

Since there is no dramatic mode in WO1, I make a team of my own with characters that share similarities and I try to do stages where I can assign myself some goals.

Base weapons - your nuts  . Saying that its not as bad with lvl 99 characters

For me i did all i wanted with game (all characters, 4th weapons, Gallery Pics, PIs etc) so i have reset the game and started again from scratch so as to keep me interested and occupy me till the sequel in September

I try to get 1000 KOs from each stage. Not as easy as it sounds since some stages have annoying defeat conditions (like Kawanakajima) and sometimes enemy soldiers might stop spawning from the gates once all enemy officers (besides the commander, of course) have been defeated.

Pretty much the only reason to keep playing after your characters are at level 99, you have all personal items and all ultimate weapons you want >_>.

Since there's not much in WO1...

I take my time levelling up my weaker characters...
And at some times I screw up my allies' strategies to make things lol a little :D

You try to unlock Shin Orochi, that is what lol! There is an edit button btw.

But other than trying to unlock a near unlockable character, I'll start a stage and lose on purpose then try to make a comeback.

Well, there's always LoW's suggestion on getting 100 K.O on each stage. I heard the maximum K.O alloted is 9,999? Is that true?

I have everything completed in that game, so for me, the only thing left to do is to follow along with Tier List discussions to see if I am utilizing each character to their full potential.

I already created a secondary setup for Da Ji based off the GameFAQs Tier List and when I complete SW2:XL, I plan to work on the rest. That should give me plenty to do before WO2 releases ^_^

I unlocked everything too, and everyone's lvl 99.

Something i'm doing right now is making a second weapon for my fav chars characters and adding different attributes to it (such as rage). You'll be surprised about the difference those combiantions make in a battle on Chaos.

Or i just pick 3 random characters and play a stage. It's also fun to play a stage on Chaos with characters you're less familiar with

Usually I just play normally, but sometimes I like to take a level one character to chaos and see how long I can survive.

It usually is 9,999 KOs. However, there is no real proof of it capping at 9,999 KOs in SW2, DW6, and WO2. But since there are many instances of people achieving 9,999 KOs in other Warriors games, it becomes a given that it is the same for those three games mentioned above. Which btw (back on topic) is one of the things you can do once you've maxed everybody out!

This is what I do for fun. I play Wu Story Stage X-5 (? The one where you unlock Da Qiao) on Chaos. The enemies just bust through the door to Da Qiao really fast and there are a lot of officers too. Sometimes I'll use characters w/o good weapons or sometimes maxed out characters with bad weapons.

Another fun battle to do on Chaos is the Battle of Saika, Wei stage 4x. Usually, i take 3 random chars and just barge in there and do the best i can. Trying to unlock Yoshimoto this way is a pain.

First i always enter the village and take out everyon, after that i go out and kill as many of Shingen's general as i can. When the engineers appear, i take them out instead.

If Zhang Liao starts to struggle, then i stay with him and leave everything else behind (including the engineers). When he survives, i stay with him and take out Yoshimoto, who actually fights very good on Chaos :s

@fledgling_phoenix - Wei 4-X is awesome. The first time I tried it on chaos, I sauntered up to Yoshimoto with maxed Musashi and almost got killed by one good combo from his stupid kickball. :P I had great fun soloing it with Cao Ren a few months back when I first got into tormenting my favorite tank with everything that chaos had to offer. He's capable of doing a lot better than this, but it was the best I could do at the time.

Cao Ren vs. Wei 4-X - Part 1
Cao Ren vs. Wei 4-X - Part 2

The morale in that battle is interesting. Chaos expert Xiahou Jia demonstrated that you can do a perfect run (no engineers at all, all allies alive) by camping a garrison, defeating everyone quickly while crowd clearing, and then bumping off each generic you encounter on the way to the other garrison. Crowd clearing boosts ally morale, and defeating all the officers creates message spam to delay the engineers.

Xiahou Jia's perfect Wei 4-X run

I did a perfect 5'31" run with Cao Ren, an attack-focused setup (Adrenalin + Refill abilities instead of Absorb + Drain), and no pickups other than one pair of speed boots, but I never got around to making a video.

Hmm.. What i do now is backing again my 7 Council since they lost bcoz lkhlkh save file make my WO destroyed.. I now have got 6 from 7 only tadakatsu the last one :D :D :D, Tadakatsu here i comee!

Seriously, to me, the most entertaining stuffs after completion is to try out different combo combinations of characters at Shu's 8-X, charging up to Lu Bu in chaos to see which team can kill him with the most number of hits.

  That's amazing Rydain. A solo run with Cao Ren on Wei 4-X and you managed to unlock Yoshimoto as well.

So the best thing to do would be to charge to Kenshin's camp and kill the officers that are going to Zhang Liao's position, to make sure that he's not gonna kill himself while you take out the officers and engineers.

And the way you dealt with Yoshimoto made me lol :D

Seriously, you know how to handle Cao Ren in this game. Despite the flinch bug (which showed up a couple of times during your vid) he's still a good officer killer.

I think i'm gonna try to solo this one myself too, with other chars tho. Thanks for the vid, that really helped ^_^
