I think people look at tattoo and automatically think "bad" because of the history. I think tattoos are another way people to express themselves but their is a limit between trashy, neutal, and classy Trashy:those who get someone name(i.e. boy/girlfriend) or those who get something stupid(like ice cream cone on there face) or those who get them in a private place(use your imagination) Neutral: would be people like me or others that want them out of nostalgia or something that express them(like my homie has a tattoo all on his arm that looks like a mural and it was pretty well done Classy: would be something with a meaning like names of the deceased or symbol that represents yourself But there nothing that can be done about whether people like it or not you can't outlaw them and you can't ban'em so the best thing is to learn to coexist with it |

I think tattoos and piercings are ok. People have the right to do whatever they want to their body. I myself wouldn't take a tattoo or a piercing, since it isn't free and I might regret it later.

I used to be pretty obsessed with piercings and tattoos, though the only thing I did was have my ears pierced five times each. After mellowing out as I got a bit older, I let most of them heal. (Not to mention I have bad reactions to certain types of jewelry, especially those nickel ones. -_-) I never got a tattoo or any "alternative" body piercings, though I've been considering a tattoo. That is, once I figure out something special I'd like to stay on me for the rest of my life... Not to mention my fear of needles and faintness at the sight of blood! XD; |

I'm pretty keen on piercings on a whole, and I find lip piercings particularly attractive, I'm not fond of septum or eyebrow piercings though. Ideally, I'd like to have a girlfriend with a lip piercing, snakebites in particular. As for tattoos, I'm not too fussed with em, though I don't actually like words on a tattoo, it doesn't look right to me, the body is sort of like a canvas, and best shown through pictures rather than words. As for actually getting a tattoo or piercing, I wouldn't think of it, I know it wouldn't suit me. Edited by theinsanething, Fri Apr 1, 2011 4:46 pm.
