AI on DW6 is not that bad. A few tweaks and it would be quite a challenge at higher levels. Only when your character has been leveled and powered up, does things get much easier. One possible suggestion, and it may not be a good one, is to keep the combo count down. Forcing the player to pause between attacks. This will make it tougher. Also making the troops slightly more aggressive. I believe one reason Koei keeps the troops not agressive is both in history and in the novel, the troops were more about delaying the heroes instead of killing them. Slowing them down for enemy officers to slay them. At least that is my impression on why Koei keeps the soldiers agressiveness at such a low level. |

the basic infantry should be more human, in past warriors games the infantry run up to u ocassonly attack and stand still as u waste hundreds of them. they should actually react to your combos like jumping back, ducking, rolling out of the way. thats how basic infantry should show more human emotions |

AI does need improving, but possibly just more blocking and less standing around doing nothing. I think Allied AI is just as good as it needs to be though. Emphasis is on you in the first place, not a random battalion of soldiers that randomly decide to take on Lu Bu and Honda as a distraction. That would be good but it iw generally not the best way of showing you are a hero of the Three Kingdoms is it? |
