Mac OS, since I have a MacBook Pro. I think it works much smoother and looks a lot nicer than XP (And assumingly Vista as well, though I've never used it). Once you go Mac you never go back.

Mine is XP but I use vista theme to make it looks like vista. I don't want to spend money on upgrading it. (Not just yet) |

I use XP, and am perfectly happy with it. Exept for its annoying cling to viruses and spyware. O how much greater of a place the world would be without viruses and spyware, I would sure love it

XP user! ...actually I'm suprised to hear this many good things about vista in one place, usually I just hear complaints about it most of the time, good things about it few and far between... it makes me feel better about the inevitable upgrading that I'll have to do sooner or later

I've got Vista on the laptop and XP on the desktop. I'm not sure which one I like more. My laptop is waay faster, but maybe that's because it is new. I can't really see any major difference between the two other than the graphics (I like XP more in that department) and the absence of Windows Fax/Picture viewer. |

Mac OS. It's UNIX-based and stable, and things just work without requiring me to tinker with them. I get along well with Apple's interface design philosophy and most OS X applications tend to follow it. |

I use Windows XP on my PC for the moment. ^^ By the way, I read on the web that Mac are more improved that PC but it seems that most of people bought a PC. |

They each have there own pros and cons Macs are not as vulnerable to viruses like Windows are. Newer Macintosh operating systems, such as the Mac OS X, is built on the Unix kernel, which is one of the oldest and most secure operating systems available. Microsoft Windows is used by a lot more users. Because more users use Microsoft Windows, it is a lot better of a target than Apple Macintosh computers. Most of the virus writers are familiar with the IBM platform and Microsoft Windows, and therefore are only going to be able to create a virus for that platform. Many of the tools and scripts used to help users create viruses or other malware are designed for Microsoft Windows. But besides the virus thing, I prefer PC to Mac. I am a lot more use to it. And I dont care much for Safari, and prefer IE and MFF to it. I dont think Macs can use ether of those, im not expert though, as I dont use Macs. And there are alot of gamers out there, and PC are built for them. Although the Macs are better for Film editing, pictures and music. I did a huge report on this in high school and could expand further, but I wont. |

I still use XP on my PC at home.  But I recently got a Macbook. OSX has changed my life forever.... I'd never use Vista though.... did you know it reports everything you do on your computer to Microsoft every time you go online? No thanx... I trust Apple now.
