Going to just paste my commentary from the mod forum into here. Quote: Interesting, I saw two new characters for Saihai in the trailer. I'll bet the woman is Gracia or Chacha. The guy seems like a cold, no-nonsense looking dude, so I'm not sure who he'd be. I doubt he's Kobayakawa or a Mouri. Maybe Chosokabe Morichika? Honda Masazumi? Also, I fully understand now why Mitsunari is the main character and why Ieyasu isn't. The Eastern Army had UNITY. So the Convince'n'Debate part of the game wouldn't work, because Ieyasu didn't have any real dissenters in his ranks. Mitsunari had TONS. Although, I still think it's odd you have to debate with Ukita Hideie, considering he was one of the most loyal Westerners there, and arguably fought the hardest in the battle.

Okatsu was the name of Ieyasu's kunoichi body guard in Kessen and Kessen 3... I'm guessing she's based off a historical lover of Ieyasu or completely made up... she doesn't look much like a ninja this times so your guess is as good as mine. Bet SRS or ZhouTai50 will have to clear it up for us. I like the designs for this game a lot... the art work has a cool style. Now, I'll never play this game, but I have to say it's got an awesome theme song on the site and trailer. It's so catchy!

Okatsu was from the famed Ota family from Kanto(she was Ota Sukemasa's grand-niece or something along those lines,) Senahime was Imagawa Yoshimoto's niece. LoW: Tanaka Yoshimasa was a samurai who served all Three Unifiers. At Sekigahara he fought on the Eastern Army side and was the one who captured Ishida Mitsunari after the battle. Okatsu, Toyohisa and Takatora's designs are AWESOME. Regarding Takatora, I never felt the "Battle Bear" design of his from from Kessen, although cool, was appropriate. He was an excellent commander and naval officer, but was infamous for his history of, well, utter LACK of loyalty. He changed his master TEN times thoughout his career, going from the Azai to several different Oda vassals, settled with the Toyotomi long enough to become one of their main generals, then suddenly jumped ship to the Tokugawa. This schemer sort of appearance looks great on him, I think. Each time he switched masters, he amusingly got richer each time(amount of koku/land he owned.) Ironically, he finally became loyal - to the Tokugawa - and became one of the Ieyasu's top men in the years up to Ieyasu's death. I've never read anything on Takatora being a cannoneering expert. He WAS an expert on castle building, however; he was known for assisting or leading the construction of over twenty castles throughout his career. Reposting so people can notice it.

Reportedly, she was an attendant to Ieyasu from a young age, and it was Ieyasu that gave her the name Okatsu(Previously, she was known as Okaji). I've even read that she followed Ieyasu on horseback during Sekigahara. After Ieyasu died, she became a nun and built the Tokozan-Eishoji nunnery.

Maybe I have to actually witness a battle before I judge this, but by the debate and and the reporting and ordering, the whole thing feels reminiscent of Phoenix Wright, even the button placement and the profiles screen.
