Both shinobi-male characters are dark, anti-social, SHADOWCHAOS ones, and (both) shinobi-female(s) are happy, joketelling, lalala, HIHIHIHEEHEEHEELALALAAA ones! Why can't females be dark, and males can't be happy?! Well, KOEI should do a new shinobi to SW3!

The "shadow/darkness obsession" that Hanzo had was only in SW1. I think that Hanzo should be given a sense of humour, some lines that don't contain the word "darkness". Kotaro's personality could probably more twisted in a demented clown sort of way.

"This tea seers my soul" that line always makes me lol anyway, on topic properly, I agree as well. I do like Kuoichi's personality, because it was a great contrast to Hanzo's in SW1. In SW2's though, Nene was also happy (and extremly annoying <_<), so as a whole I don't like it. Kotaro and Hanzo always go on about the Shadows and Chaos, really annoying after a while. I actually prefered Hanzo in SW1, mainly because he wasn't as monotone and actually had a personality probably because he had more character interaction in the 1st.

They have the whisper deep ninja voices, they love darkness/chaos, etc. Nene was just a pain in the *! I don't like her motherly attitude. And her voice isn't too good (Except in WO). I have my own ninja I made. She has a love for nature, and she's serious most of the time and happy sometimes. She also loves kicks *!

Especially Kotaro and Hanzo, as for Kunoichi she bounced well against the more serious Yukimura and whilst Nene was even more happy go lucky lets not forget that she was Kunoichis replacement overall and i couldnt image a dark moody Nene when alongside positive eternal optimist extradinare Hideyoshi.
