Are there any music out there that describes any Koei characters? If so, do upload/post the lyrics here to share!! ^-^ The song I found is called 王子Wang Zi [Prince] sung by Nicholas Zhang. It really reminds me of Cao Pi. Obsessive Yue Ying Fan OMG Posts: 1,696 Group: Members Member #9,822 Joined: September 20, 2007 Gender Male	Oh, I love this topic! Great idea. I agree, that sounds very much like a Cao Pi song. Even the genre of softer-angsty-but-I'm-still-cool-rock that Nicholas Tse usually sings in is appropriate for Cao Pi, and.... well, yeah. It sounds like he sang it! I have one that's for a character and a bit situational. RUI's Tsuki no Shizuku (the singer is actually Shibasaki Kou (of Battle Royale fame); RUI is a character she played) is a song that's contextually, how I imagine Yue Ying feeling after Zhuge Liang dies. The entire peice, despite being very heartbreaking, is inherently dignified and optimistic - accepting the relationship for what it was and how important it was, while being able to move on. At first, Mitsuhide highly believed in Nobunaga but then went against him becuase of his cruelty. As he betrays him, his feelings are mixed, but in the end he manages to carry out his task and decides to live on. Obsessive Yue Ying Fan OMG Posts: 1,696 Group: Members Member #9,822 Joined: September 20, 2007 Gender Male	I've been listening to this one amazing CD from a Taiwanese music company called Chai Found Music Workshop. There a popular music group that create new arrangements and do concerts using traditional Han Chinese instruments (Ehru, etc.). A recent performance (of about two years ago) saw them take traditional Han Chinese melody and instruments and fuse them with pop & rock beats. Well, I was listening to the album and it's almost... Well, I plan to sort of do a fannish 'Shu Image Album' based on the songs because they tend to fit the DW6 characterizations incredibly well. I'm not done of course - but here's a sample; and what prompted this. The song is '風' (Wind). I feel this theme specifically fits the enthusiastic and mature demeanour of Yue Ying - the high pitched fast-paced melody is a clear call to action and assertive behaviour; and the arrangement changes just enough to show variation of mood (frustration, empathy, triumph and goal) but the main melody is so consistently empowering that you feel that you can do anything; even if others don't believe so. It's a song that lets you believe you have purpose because quite frankly - you have a life you wish to live, and you will fight for it as such. I definitely wish to share the other songs with you as well (and they sound far more rock than this one).

Whenever I write a fanfic I often set the theme to a particular song that might fit the main character.
