Warriors Orochi (PS2 & 360); What have you been doing in the game?

Posts: 6,827 Group: Admins Member #3,636 Joined: October 5, 2006 Gender Male	Just recently got back into it after DW6 and have been using the likes of Gan Ning, Ling Tong, Ma Chao, Kunoichi, Hideyoshi, Nene, Sun Jian and a few others. I've been playing stages off Shu's story and a few off SW's.

KOEI Warriors Unifier Posts: 1,757 Group: Members Member #7,496 Joined: May 22, 2007	Didn't even notice this at first LDZ. Well, I've been trying to help finish up the tiers list at gamefaqs with calbee, rydain, and the rest of the gang. The last remaining characters are Yoshihiro, Zhang He, Sima Yi, and we just finished Pang Tong. But other than that, I've gotten off my DW kick and just been doing the speed tests for characters that I posted in the "What do you do for fun?" thread. Or trying to develop more tag combos, which are more difficult to find than I thought.

I have to re-adjust my entire gameplay style to be able to do them. Other than that, I've been doing a lot of co-op lately playing through each story with my daughter. Its added some variety so that I don't get burned out playing the same stories I've already completed many times

Man I have to say, I kinda lost touch a little lol.

B) :lol: I'll be doing WO solo runs or practicing tag & cancel combos, and she'll be playing DW:Advance. Then we'll play co-op We have to play on Normal though since she's not that good yet (she's only 9) I'm trying to get her ready for VS mode in WO2 :ph43r: She's going to need all the practice she can get before going against me :lol: RE: Encerta's post about losing touch ... I had to adjust from SW2 to WO when I first got it, but surprisingly I didn't have too much trouble adjusting from WO --> SW2:XL --> WO again (other than the occasional map swap thinking I was switching characters :lol: )

Like on Shu first stage, instead of escaping on the East path, I tried to go through the castle. Quite fun and challenging!

The quotes, music, everything! Also I find I'm playing Cheng Du with Shu and Wei's Yamazaki (where Cao Cao arrives in glorius fashion.)

I havent played in a while, that is previous to about 3 days ago, I have played a little lately but not much, I have maxed out about half the characters and I dont plan to do the rest . I do plan to do it in WO2 though.

But yes it does get quite annoying hearing the same quote by Magoichi over and over again about how full of himself he is :rolleyes: And having Xing Cai and Zhu Rong praise him at the end. And yes indeed, Odawara is awesome, that is also one of my most frequent stages.

Kiri no Shugosha Posts: 818 Group: Members Member #17,170 Joined: August 1, 2008	I completed the game to 100% in 2007, now i suddenly miss it due to the ouctome of WO2 and i deleted my save data, and started all over again to review all those moments, obtaining every ones 4th weapon, PI, and complete the rest to 100% even tought im a little unsecure about Lu Bu's PI, Its very hard but im sure i can do it again. Currently: i finished Samurai Stories (Including suprising Tadakatsu & Lu Bu) and started the SHU story.

Wan Castle would be easier because your not surrounded by a bunch of officers at once. Though they are both worth trying after each other or something, so you won't find it too boring. Plus they are both short stages to complete.

To be honest i forgot how much grinding was involved to unlock everything in the game and get all the profiencies up to max, looks like ive a busy few weeks ahead of me

General Posts: 236 Group: Members Member #7,683 Joined: June 1, 2007	UPDATE: Finally got Lu Bu's PI a few days ago with some 2P help and the rest of the PI's soon after and today i finished getting all the fourth weapons, I found it was alot faster to just use a maxed out yukimura with a maxed fourth and 2 characters at a time for obtaining fourth's at Jie ting on hard B) and since i cant think of anything else, i guess ill just play something else until WO2 comes out and may i say that you were quite right about a majority of the quotes in that level Jasonic, eventually i just kept begging those end quotes by Xing Cai and Zhu Rong to hurry because at some point they felt like it took a century to finish :wacko: although I cant help but love this quote that masamune does "You cant trust that guy when women are involved"

Also I've been going back to try and listen to all the conversations, trying to find ones that I haven't listened to before. o.o I have nothing else to do so this game is getting played daily. There are also conversations that I love to hear so I go back and listen to them all over again. On another note, Ling Tong and Okuni? Who would have thought?

And although Kenshin's voice was terrible in WO1, you could tell he tried a bit better in 2. Or because it could've been because of time restraints? Heh, guess we won't ever find out.
