Please discuss the topic at hand and not make this a WO3 wishlist. We've not heard anything about a possible game for it yet. And please put some effort into your posts, at least a couple of lines to contribute to positive forum discussion. Thanks. |

Sorry, LittleDragonZ. For the moment, I'm still playing Warriors Orochi 2, so I don't have any need for a third game right now. About the second game, though, I'm wondering something. Does the PS2-version have frame-drops as well? In the 360-version, when I'm surrounded by a lot of enemies, the game tends to slow down. It's really annoying. As a solution, I've installed the game to my HDD. I haven't had time to check the results yet, though. |

Upon release, way back then, the 360 version had problems in stages like Chi Bi with the lag you're talking about. The PS2 version was fine, though. Koei responded with a patch which fixed this issue. Have you downloaded it? Edited by LittleDragonZ, Tue Nov 10, 2009 9:06 pm.

I am connected to Xbox Live, but I can't remember having to download any updates. I am a PAL-resident, so I am using the European version of the game. Maybe that doesn't have any patches released? If I'm wrong, and there is indeed an update available, I have already downloaded it. Whoops! I now see that I'm in the wrong topic! These problems that I have, are for Warriors Orochi 2! This is the topic for the original game, so I'm terribly sorry! Edited by Qing Long, Sat Nov 14, 2009 12:41 am.

i played both versions and i have to say the ps2 is better mainly cause of the half speed gameplay the 360 has. |

I only played the PS2 version. The game is awesome all the characters espacially the new nes like Fu Xi, Nu Wa, Yoshitsune ect. even the fact that they added SW2XL characters was awesome. Now I'm just MAXing characters and unlock the last 3 dream stages. |

Maxing characters' levels through the menus (with the earned points, instead of actually playing with them), has effect on how powerful they are, correct? |

Correct, their proficiency doesn't increase when you use Growth Points, only the character level. |

I started playing WO2 again and this has me thinking about playing WO1. I might go back to it and try to level up some more characters. I've done quite a bit with the game, but I haven't played it in so long that I forgot the state I left it in. |

I'm a fool for selling the Xbox 360-version of Warriors Orochi. I still have the PS2-version, but all my progress is on Xbox 360. And to start all over again is not really a good choice, I think.

Tell me about it. I had to start WO2 over again and I have absolutely no desire to get my progress anywhere remotely near where it was before I lost it. I put too much time into my original file to just start over. But look at it this way, it's now there to pad your Warrior collection. That's how I look at WO2. Thankfully, my WO1 save data is intact. I have all 4th weapons, all abilities, everyone is at Proficiency MAX and about 75% of the cast is at level 99. My main goal is to get everyone to 99. Getting Personal items for every character is going to be a pain, but hopefully someday I end up doing it. |

Could you tell me honestlly, which game you prefer? Warriors Orochi? Or Warriors Orochi 2? And which version? The PS2-version? The PSP version? The Xbox 360 version? Or finally, the PS3 version? ![]() I'm interested to know... |

Well I've never played the 360 version of WO1, the PS2 version of WO2, or the PSP version of either. But I think I prefer WO1, and I can only assume that it looks and sounds better on the 360. The story was longer due to the "X" stages, the proficiency system isn't ridiculous like it is in WO2, and there were personal items. Not to mention that you didn't have any of that tedious and mind-numbing grinding just to unlock all the Dream stages. Oh, and you can't forget about the dual-voices in WO2 because KOEI didn't re-record dialogue for the characters that had new voices. WO1 was a fresh, new experience. WO2 wasn't. They didn't even change the menus or the music. So WO1 > WO2. Getting the Orochi story an all those new characters was great, but it's not enough to make it a better game. |

I did it. I finally did it. Today, after almost 6 years, I did it. I completely finished the game. Every fourth weapon, every character at Lvl. 99, and every Personal Item. I'm so happy about this, and even though it's not as big as an accomplishment as it would of been if I did it a few years ago since no one really cares about this game anymore, I take great pride in finally doing it. |

Congrats! That's a lot of work and a lot of hours, haha. I've just recently gone back and started playing through the game again and I'm a long way away from 100%. I don't think I've done that with any musou game before.

Thanks. Yeah, this game was a first for me, that's why I take so much pride in it. I've never completely finished a Warriors game before, and I may never again. It's a great feeling. |

Just a heads up, WO has been released on PSN in the US. Even though my PS2 save file is 100% complete, I decided to re-buy it for PS3. I figure it'll be fun to play fresh. Now only if they'd release WO2 to the PSN. |

How does it look? I know it was released on the 360, so the graphics are probably on par with that, but I wanted to make sure. I've been considering buying it for my Xbox (download) cause that's where my save file is. I don't like starting over... (especially WO2, that stupid ass final Dream Stage was needlessly difficult to get )

I've yet to play it. I've been spending the entire day downloading it and Dynasty Tactics 2. But I assume it'll look like the PS2 version since it's a "PS2 Classic". Too bad since the 360 version looks way better. |

Ah, yeah I suppose that makes sense. Ah well, im sure the Xbox download is prettier and it has my save there anyway. Plus, my PS3 is all full of WO3 and DW7E right now anyhow, so i might not even have room for it
