I think they've more or less worked Kitsuno into Nouhime, more or less. There's nary a mention of her in the games at all, and the love half of the Nobunaga-Nouhime relationship feels like it came from that in some form. I am very looking forward to how they present Chiyome and whoever the other female additions may be. |

There's many I would like to see, but mainly: Sanada Masayuki- Father of Yukimura plays a prominent part in the Sekigahara campaign, also an extra general for the Takeda. Otani Yoshitsugu- If there is one historic personality from the Sengoku period begging to be made a unique , it's Yoshitsugu such an interesting and different character. He was a leper but also a close friend and advisor to Mitsunari, his regiment fought well at Sekigahara (by which time he was partially blind) and he predicted the defecting of Kobayakawa Hideaki. Hojo Ujimasa- Completes the "big 3" of the Kanto region... Uesugi Kenshin, Takeda Shingen and Hojo Ujimasa Yamamoto Kansuke- Even though he died rather early at the battle of Kawanakajima, he remains a personal favourite of mine. Pretty much the Kongming of Sengoku in my mind, Shingen's master strategist, I'm sure Koei could up with some sort of fictional tale for him. Kakizaki Kageie- One of Kenshi's oldest and best generals who constantly lead the Uesugi attack. (Huang Zhong anyone??) Niwa Nagahide- Yes I know the Oda have ALOT of officers but still Nobunaga is missing that someone special lol. He has his wife (Noh), his bodyguard (Ranmaru) and his warriors (Mitsuhide, Hideyoshi, Katsuie) but Nagahide would be his right hand man, a person who is completely and utterly dedicated to the Oda cause, similar to Xiahou Dun's relationship with Cao Cao in DW. Others I would also like to see would be li Naomasa, Mouri Motonari, Uesugi Kagekatsu, Katakura Kagetsuna (Kojuro) and Tachibana Muneshige. Edited by DarkDante, Aug 18 2009, 01:02 AM.

Never mind. Let's just get back on topic.  I'd like to see more of the unpopular daimyos get more characters i.e. Chosokabe, Mori, etc. I think it'd be cool if Nobuchika Chosokabe was in SW3. Or at least an NPC. I saw a design of him on deviantArt that was really cool. I really would like to see the return of Kunoichi and Goemon. I think Kunoichi should be a bit more feminine, and Goemon be a little muscular or strong like Keiji. Or at least not annoying.  Oh! And I hope that important characters like... shoot, I forgot his name. One of the Asakuras. But I think that only a couple new/revamped characters will be revealed, and more will be in SW3:XL. (hopefully)

Ekei Ankokuji should appear cause he served the Mouri and participated in Sekigahara along with Hidemoto Mouri and Hiroie Kikkawa. For a ninja, I think Sandayu Momochi would fit as another man who opposed Nobunaga. Talking about opposing Nobunaga, there's one man who should be added, Hisahide Matsunaga. He killed Yoshiteru Ashikaga and betrayed Nobunaga several times. His last battle, Siege of Shigisan Castle, could be added to Sakon's story when he was with the Tsutsui. Eastern Army need some love and Kiyomasa is not enough. Naomasa Ii and Masanori Fukushima participated in Sekigahara for the Tokugawa. Toyohisa Shimazu should also be added so he could have a rivalry with Naomasa. |

Ieshisa Shimazu should appear in SW3 he was important . I agree with you about Ekei .Hidetada and Hideyori were very important after Hideyoshi died. |

Here's my updated list (since they already have 3 new characters) Masayuki Sanada Naomasa Ii Masanori Fukushima Terumoto Mouri Ekei Ankokuji Kagekatsu Uesugi Muneshige Tachibana Nobuyuki Sanada Hideaki Kobayakawa Outside Sekigahara : Katsuyori Takeda Nobufusa Baba Masanobu Kosaka Hisahide Matsunaga Junkei Tsutsui Sorin Otomo Matsu Maeda Hanbei Takenaka Dosetsu Tachibana Dosan Saito Hidemitsu Akechi Kennyo Honganji Sandayu Momochi Yoshitatsu Saito I believe a lot of them would never make it to the game especially Dosan. |

I would like to see Nobuyuki, but Masayuki is in the top of my list. If there will be only one spot left I think he should fill. This man could intensify Kawanakajima and Nagashino (not Yukimura) and also defended Ueda Castle numerous times. His addition could add depths to Yukimura's personality (and he won't be too busy with Team Justice). |

I'd hardly say Nobuyuki was a Takeda Add. At best he'd have maybe 1 battle or so Takeda, then it'd go to the...well I'm not actually sure much of Nobuyuki until he went to the Tokugawa  but I'm pretty sure not much Takeda. I definatly think another Sanada needs added, both Masayuki and Nobuyuki would be great adds, but I'd be more in favour of Nobuyuki, simply because the Eastern Army still needs more guys, and then it could add a lot of depth to Ueda. I'd also like some Takeda officers though, either Masakage or Masayuki whom I've already mentioned. Nobufusa could work too. As many other have said too, I truly hope that the Hojo and Mori get a place in the game soon. I mean, the Hojo have officers currently, but not much of a story or a true Hojo officer. If Yoshimoto can get in, the Hojo certainly can. |

Nobuyuki is only a year older than Yuki, so if he can be in Nagashino so can Yukimura. He later served The toyotomi like yuki and masayuki. Nobuyuki is 1st on my list.

He does, he never served the takeda, he was just a hostage, he served the toyotomi in i think like 2 or 4 battles, then he was with tokugawa for most of his life. |

Well I can't imagine more than 6 new characters max, so that would leave another 3 spots, I would like to see: Sanadan Nobuyuki, originally I wanted li Naomasa but Nobuyuki is one of those characters who just ticks all the boxes: unique relationships with Ina and Yukimura, another Tokugawa retainer, another Eastern Army loyalist. More than anything the prospect of him and Yukimura facing off: joined by family bloodline but divived by loyalties, is a prospect to relish. I could picture him as looking sorta Yukimura-ish, but being polar opposites to his brother: utterly dedicated to the Tokugawa/Eastern army cause and clad in all blue. Hojo Ujimasa, we have 2 potential Hojo retainers (K&K) already, now all we need is a lord and the Hojo could become a legitimate force, I've said all along you can't have Uesugi and Takeda but not have Hojo, and with the "3 kingdoms Kanto" scenario in SW3 there's no better time to include him. Ujimasa would be sorta Yuan Shao like snobbish but alot older. Finally Matsunaga Hisahide, I'm sure I've talked about him enough times alreayd so no need to write it all up again, the ambitious schemere with an eye for tea sets. Kagekatst, Katsuyori and Otomo Sorin as NPCs. Edited by DarkDante, Aug 20 2009, 04:57 AM.

I hope they are opposites, Nobuyuki should be fun and jokey, yet serious when need be. thats my hope of nobuyuki at least. |

That much I knew, why I said maybe 1 or so battles, same as what Yukimura has. I knew he served the Toyotomi also, the whole Sanada clan did, but did he actually serve in battle? That I do not know, but I'd assume he did

Hmm I never really thought about that, but now that you mention it, that would be a great idea. I never really realised just how deadly serious the Tokugawa/Eastern Army are all the time perhaps they could use an officer who could lighten the mood once in awhile. Of course it couldn't be someone as ridiculous and slapstick as say an Hideyoshi or Mago type but I'm thinking of a personality similar to Sakon: one who would bring some wit and style to his army, but when the situation calls for it, they don't mess around. Whether that should be Nobuyuki or not is another matter though. |
