Ieyasu

Gameplay Wise

In SW2, Ieyasu's moveset was pretty standard for a normal character. Pretty average charge attacks and all of that. His cannons were pretty handy, his R1's and musou were great for wiping out peons.

WO made him better because of his R1. My favorite R1 in the entire game, great for whittling down health or if you just want to pull a DBZ and eradicate enemies with a beam.

Personality and Story Wise

Both SW2 and WO portray Ieyasu as the endurance guy. Yeah, its pretty unique, but after a while, his talk of patience can be annoying. He aint no Yoda.

Ieyasu's story in SW2 is one of my favorites, because one of SW2's main focuses is on the rise of the Tokugawa. Among all the characters, Ieyasu is the only character that has been there from the very beginning (Okehazama) to the very end (Osaka Castle).

In WO1, he's one of the major supporters of Sun Ce, and has a near-moderate role in the Wu story. WO2 has him with Shu, though I wonder why he'd just leave Wu right off the bat.
