oh ..! ...@~% ! sorry i didnt realize you choose 2 , sorry !.
 but , i start on the default difficulty and gradutiualy get higher ....but the enemy attacks more frequently on the higher difficult , and takes more . The difficultys are not always the same on all games though . ( but i must admit , for the people i dont like , i put the difficulty to easy , to complete them faster , casue i dont lik em , lol .. |

Starting from the very beginning? Always normal. Easy has always been too easy for me. Although I will admit, WO gave a few of my new toons a decent measure of difficulty. |

I usually play on Normal then move on to higher difficulty as my characters become stronger. |

I start on Easy and I stay there for all my Warriors games. If there is a need to change to Hard for weapons, I'll do so once or twice until I get that weapon, otherwise, Easy is my game. Don't really have a reason, but I dislike spending extra time killing the soldiers and watching my allies die really fast when you could enjoy being a super hero killing and saving as you please, while the enemies can't do anything to you (except maybe a buffed up Lu Bu). |

I start on Easy, and progress upwards when I've gotten my characters to a powerful enough level to handle the difficulty. Nothing's worse than playing as a barebone character on medium or higher and getting killed on a hard level. So when the character is at a comfortable level, preferably having his/her 3rd weapon, I play on Medium & Hard. |

I start on something that lets me proceed at a decent pace, which is usually Easy. As I get bored, I move up in difficulty. In the games where I've started on Easy (WO, DW6, SW2), I'm aware that fresh characters are capable of handling Normal. However, it feels like I'm taking half an eon to kill enemies and get anywhere, especially if I'm new to the system or a particular character. I'd rather make the learning curve feel more like fun than a second job. Those games all have difficulty settings designed to be tough for maxed and mastered characters, so it's not like I'm entirely missing out on a challenge by making things simpler for myself early on. |

Mostly Normal, the only game I put on Easy was Gundam Musou and that was to adjust to the system, once I pretty much buff up the character reasonably, I play Hard but I rarely touch Chaos unless I'm really confident with the character like Zhang Fei in DW6... |

I usually start on normal, sometimes hard if I can get away with it. I like playing on the highest difficulty I can and when I get my game going a little bit eventually I'll begin playing on chaos mode. One thing though, SW is harder than DW. In DW I can go through chaos mode fairly early and do awesome, but in SW the game's difficulty seems more advanced. |

Surprised with how many have already voted for easy, though its great to hear that most are aiming higher. Of course I can maybe see why if you have a busy life or just generally can't be bothered to die and do a stage again. That is annoying, but perserverance is ideal in this situation and you get a challenge playing normal, at least. Easy is just making the enemies mindless fodder basically. This is why, IMO, that I also stated in the WO thread that I'm glad Koei made easy less ideal than normal. Remember I'm giving my opinion (advise) and not telling you what to do since I can't.  @Nragemachine: You maybe thinking that because DW5 had the Musou Tokens? Though I do somewhat agree with you, I also tend to notice this. |

for DW and SW games, I begin in normal, and go in hard as soon as I can hantdle it. The when the character is at max, I go in chaos. In Warriors Orochi 1, I started in easy... because the soldiers really hurt :mellow: But in Warriors orochi 2, I started in hard, cause the game is really easy <_< there is a huuuuge gap between the difficulty of the first and the second game, i don't understand why. In WO1, "normal" is the hard mode of DW, but in WO2 "normal" is the easy mode of DW... |

Like I said, the soliders hurt because its a change to the games mechanics in WO. Its like the 3 bars have to be made to suffer, as if they acted as a single. Switching is how the game forces you to progress. I've now heard a few times that WO2 is much easier. :mellow: |

I go for easy, then as I go along I increase. Funny, up until now I've always been afraid of playing of Chaos mode. That will change when I get the Almighty (Tenbu) element...

Frankly it's annoying if you keep dying when the only thing you want to do is complete musou mode (what I always do first whenever I get a new game), so maybe after that's all done and over with, then I move on to higher difficulties, mainly becuase I like challenges. >D ...And also becuase my koei gaming buddy usually dies if I don't start at easy. XDD; |

I start on medium and will usally complete everyones story on that same difficulty. I will use easy on very rare occasions, only when im trying to get something, like a horse or a weapon, and I just dont want to try hard to do it. I usally go up to hard for after Ive completed most peoples stats to pretty high. I will go on chaos just for the fun of it, when im on level one and see how long I can survive

I always either begin on Normal or Hard. I hate starting on Easy because... It's too easy... No other way to describe that. After a few battles or whatever I will raise it to hard mode and stay there for the majority of the time. Only go onto even harder to have a bit of fun and have a slightly bigger challenge. |

I start on easy then work my way up when it gets too easy which is pretty quick! XD Sometimes I start on normal depending on the character, usually Lu Bu or someone. I try starting on normal but most times end up dying quick Though saying that I somehow managed to struggle through Zhou Yun's musou mode on DW6 on normal mode :lol: It sure was hard!

I'm surprised at all these people that play on easy and have a hard time on medium. I got my 8 year old niece to play the game with me and she does fine on normal, even though she still hasn't quite gotten the hang of it. I've never played on easy and the only game I play normal on alot is Warriors Orochi. On all the games I usually end up with all my campaigns beaten on Chaos. I enjoy playing Empires on Chaos. the only part that ever gets difficult is on DW:E when you have to try to defeat Cao Cao's army. I've actually saved him for last, him having absolutely everyone and everything maxed out and killed him. That was probably my greatest DW moment. It was far from easy, but I tried and I did it and now I can be proud of the fact that I completed such a challenge. |

Yeah the Chaos Mode(maybe others?) got slightly nerfed.The first few hits do less damage but later hits do more damage.I think I will play chaos a little early to test it when I get the game. I played on easy at first on every game.I like to have an easier time when fighting and to complete story modes.For Warriors Orochi 2,however,I plan on playing on normal since you have the first skill of EVERY character.So most abilities will start out quite high and make things much easier.I might start on hard though thanks to all the abilities. |

I've always started on Easy and move my way up. It fixed for my schedule where I need to play a game fast. I have yet to find any difference between the difficulty levels except with WO2 where the levels got easier to play and on easy its ridiculously simple to play that if not for the completion of the game I won't play. |

Ugh... I was going to choose 2nd and 4th, but I pressed "Vote" too early (so I got only 2nd choice in). I am usually start on Normal Mode and try to get higher. However, since I have tiny free time nowaday. To progress the story line faster, I have to play on Easy to rush all stories, then back to Normal to level up.
