He Jin gathers a coalition in order to bring down the yellow scarf leader Zhang Jiao. Lets get started. I see this stage as the first stepping stone since it's in the majority of the main titles. Though I'm not too fond of it, it has a great quality of music in general. And everyone likes killing Zhang Jiao! B) What do you think? |

The Yellow Turban rebellion is my favorite stage in every DW that i own. And you're right about the music: it's the best, although the DW4 music wasn't as good as the others (it did brought me in a trance sometimes
)The stages are pretty fun too: facing against the sorcery of the 3 Zhang brothers. But i think Koei should make that more challenging and impressive. Also, if you fight for the Yellow Turbans, you get to face all of the rulers with some of their officers. The DW4 version of the rebellion has to be my fav: the stage looked gorgeous and the sorcery made it hard to fight Zhang Bao and Zhang Liang. The music was fitting too. |

Its completely epic in DW3, so many funny quotes and scenes. Without a doubt worth remembering(though it's too hard to forget.) And haha, you're correct about DW4's, its enough to make anyone feel too relaxed. |

The YTR stages have always had a special place. More often for nearly all the DW characters, it is the first stage in the game. DW3's version of the stage is always fun to play as, especially since "YOU FLAMING IDIOTS!" never gets old. DW4's version can be a bit challenging, but that can be remedied depending on the way you progress through the story modes. Playing on the Turban's side in that stage is one of the hardest things to do, especially if you want to get Zhang Jiao's 10th weapon. DW5's version seems to emphasize even more on the sorcery of the YT's, as indicated by Zhang Bao's rockslide, Zhang Liang's tornadoes, Zhang Man Cheng's mind control and Zhang Jiao's immunity spells. But anyway, its fun do defeat them. As I haven't played DW6, I can't give my take on the stage there. How is it? |

The DW6 version is excellent, such great music as you may have heard by now, and its also easy. Though my main concern would be the length, especially when attempting the missions (last and hardest is 20 mins, so you will have it done by 10-15 when you get the hang of it.) The level is far too short, its like one of the leads to the stage in DW4 - YTR Menace or Fortress. But yeah, it's excellent in my opinion. Though will get very overplayed due to 19 stages in the game and the need to play low levels for training. For me it was this and Wu Territory a lot of the times. |

I love most of them. Zhang Jiao is one of my favorites, so naturally I'm gonna gravitate torwards his battle. DW2: It was fun and I like the map, though it wasn't a blast to play. (Then again, nothing really is in DW2.) DW3: Allied Forces - Fun, but probably my least favorite one of them all. I'm not a huge fan of the map for the battle, and I don't like the fact that there is a huge castle in the middle. DW4's YT Fortress is more fitting for the map they used. Yellow Turbans - I can't remember much from it, but I believe it's my least favorite of all of them too. DW4: Allied Forces - Real fun, and my favorite in the series. I love the map. Yellow Turbans - My favorite of all games, Allied or YT forces. It's so epic and whenever you think you have the upper hand, enemy reinforcements come in to ruin your dreams. It's the perfect level to play if you need weapon experience. DW5: Allied Forces - Again, really enjoyable. I love the map and I like the sorcery that goes on in it. Yellow Turbans - Real fun, and I enjoy the fact that you can convert Sun Jian & Cao Cao when you play as Zhang Jiao. I always enjoyed that part of the battle. DW6: Really fun. The map is too small IMO, but I really enjoy the battlefield itself. The sand is a nice touch, and for what it is, it's pretty cool. A huge negative is that you can't play as the YT forces. As someone who loves Zhang Jiao, that's a huge blow. |

I love this beginner stage.
All of the versions were good except that its kinda boring to play.
Even I didn't play DW6 the DW6 version was good because of the music made by MASA. One of my favorite stage is this because I like defeating Zhang Jiao and his voice!

Playing the stage on the side of the Yellow Turbans is one fast way of leveling a character. With the number of generals around, your attack and defence will zoom. |

Agreed, in specifics with DW2. For me, that was the hardest of all the yellow turban stages and to be honest I actually found DW2 the hardest of all the games. As there were battles like Guan Du that were hard to turn in your favour when playing as Cao Cao. Its been going slightly easier since then, maybe I should up myself from hard mode... But I did prefer the DW2 battle map and stage in general for the yellow turbans rather than the subsequent battle maps. Likewise for Guan Du. |

DW3 - I don't enjoy this stage, you can't cross the river and you have to find a way to go another side. The most funny thing in this stage is the quote, "You flaming idiot!" DW4 - Not much comment on this one. This stage is not too bad, not too good. DW5 - Love it! I like saving my allies from the Yellow Turban sorcerors. It is very tiring to go east, centre, north-west, and then to north-east to defeat Zhang Jiao. |

DW6 has the best version of the stage in my opinion, though 3 would take it for the comedy. In 6 its a stage I jump straight in when playing away from the game for a time. Due to it not being difficult on the highest mode and it being short. The music plays a big role in this stage and that could also be why. Zhang Jiao's best appearance ever! He needs to look crazy. Hmm... DW3-Big Map,Easy Place to get alot of K.O.,and Zhang Jiao was like a Kid in a Candy store just Bouncing to one place to another...the Best Yellow Turban Battle of the DW*Note my Opinion* Dw4-Hmm...Not Great...But not Bad... DW5-Better than DW4's ones...but still not all that Great Small Map... DW6-Better than DW5 and 4...Bigger Map then DW5...Nice Sand, but I still like DW3 One better... |

DW2 A very huge map. There were many officers to beat when you play the Han forces, however,it wasn't that cool. YT Side was far too easy. DW5 I like this stage. But it's easy to beat. YT Side is very fun, exspecially bringing Cao Cao and Sun Jian to your side. DW6 Really nice stage. I like the music and it's good for leveling up characters at the beginning. @EverLp: Yes,that happened two times to me,that He Jin was killed. The same thing with Hu Lao Gate,Dong Zhuo sometimes kills many officers with his Musou Attack.

DW2: I love this map despite the fact it's big and can be a long battle but the music is enjoyable with it. DW4: I don't care for this one as much and even the music is a bit weird. DW5: I love this stage and the freakin' music for it is awesome. Even getting Zhang Jiao's 4th weapon from this stage isn't even that hard to do either. DW6: I done this stage so many times that it's probably the easiest stage to do. I actually enjoy it since it's a good place to level up your characters. |

A nice "tutorial stage" in most games, often involving a good amount of weak mobs to slay and good amount of objectives to show a lil what can happen in the game, even the unexpectable ones. DW5 playing as Zhang Jiao this one was somewhat giving me giggles cause this stage often is the first stage of bunch, now it was the last and actually giving some difficult times. At the very least fun factor was high on YT side here. |

i generally like the stage because it reminds me of the first time i played DW2, i even downloaded Yellow Storm because i get very nostalgic when playing this stage. While it gradually became easier over time, DW veterans will agree that the DW2 version of this stage was fairly difficult |

Alright to start off, the YTR stages are usually the most fun for me. Here is what I think of them... DW2 - By far the hardest I have ever dealed with. The enemy troops are so squeezed together in the map it's ridiculous. Reaching Zhang Jiao isn't the hardest with me... definitely finding saving points lol. Anyway it's always a rewarding stage to play when maxing out characters good version odd music. DW3 - ''Feel the power of my maaaggic!'' Erm OK. Fun stage indeed, loved how they freeze the water for an excuse to extend the level >:(. To add on, He Jin actually get's some Yellow Turban action here too! Usually with me, by the time I reach Zhang Jiao he's fighting about 20 officers and a lot of troops. Good stage, same music with a bit of a remix. DW4 - My favorite version. They not only get one, but THREE stages. Hail the importance of the Yellow Turbans. Preferably the music here get's better, last battle goes out great as well. Not that hard but deemed very enjoyable nonetheless. Oh, and Zhangman Cheng receives the ''Powah!'' DW5 - I really felt as this could have been done much better. Still, it came out really fun. Some of the best moments this stage has to offer is the cutscenes. Zhang Jiao showing the soldiers the ''light'' and stealing them from Sun Jian/others. Fun but way too easy imo. DW6 - My second favorite version. Great places to level up characters, or in general to mess around. Gotta love the ''deserted'' approach they came in with this one. Really felt as this stage had the perfect look the YT have been needing. Just epic. |

Hm. DW3's version of the YTR had some awkward enemy placements, DW4's version had incredibly boring music (Dancing Wizard? yeeech), and DW5's wasn't exactly inspiring either. DW6... was a little better. Probably the best version was DW2. After storming the Yellow Turbans' fortress on all sides, they funnel you through two really tight corridors, one of which is fighting you back with howling winds. Then you fight your way up to the top and beat the crap out of Zhang Jiao, all the while a very rocking theme is playing in the background to keep you pumped up during the action. I always thought it was an inspiring start to such an incredibly different approach of tackling the Three Kingdoms Era. |
