This is where the glorius Tadakatsu Honda stood up and guarded Ieyasu's forces from Hideyoshi Toyotomi. The music is brilliant, but what bothered me was Tadakatsu having no movie in the stage or anything to really imply that he's the greatest in the battle in SW2. And the fact that the music wasn't even in SW2, but the track was just thrown in SW2XL. |

Find that I'm saying the same thing over and over again already  But the SW1 version was better. I enjoyed the ambushes, tons of archer towers, and most of all... Yoshimoto's take on the stage >_> Overall a very fun level in both games though and I have high hopes for the SW3 version. |

As I haven't played SW1 or its XL, I can only comment from what I've seen in videos. I'm not much of a fan of flashy tricks and ambushes (Copyrighted by WO Keiji), so I don't think I would have enjoyed 1XL's take on K-N. SW2 on the other hand I liked, with its open hostilities and HUGE factors in morale for both sides. I was surprised the first time playing when I was the Tokugawa side, and my blue morale bar was at max. Then Hideyoshi reconciles with Nobukatsu, and it drastically drops! WTH?!?! One thing that can be said though, is that both 1 and 2XL's K-N tracks are awesome. Too bad they didn't even officially implement it in SW2XL! <_< At least WO2 will remedy that. |

The stage only appears in SW: XL. It is without a doubt the best stage of the original Samurai Warriors game, not only because of the fixed combat system, but for the sheer volume of troops in the level in such a small area. Yes, the level is small, the ambush isn't all that great, but there's just so many troops to mow down. |

Yes, it does not appear in SW1 but only 1XL and 2/XL. Though you could load them together after XL was released. In 1XL it was given to Tadakatsu and Hideyoshi as a new stage for those new characters. Though in 2 it lacked the music. For some reason it wasn't put in, but later ended up in SW2XL. Though not in Komaki (for some odd reason again) but unlockable for the sound options and in Mercenary Mode. |

If the SW2 version had the music from XL, this would probably be the stage I would play the most, it gets me into the mood of playing a decisive fight. Fun stage, not on the same scale as Sekigahara, but still a really big stage, neither side gains the advantage in this stage at all really. |

The SW: XL version of the stage is played by all four of the new XL characters, actually. The Tadakatsu version of the stage plays Tadakatsu's theme instead, though. And the Komaki-Nagakute SW2 remix really is played on the Komaki-Nagakute map in Mercenary Mode, just as the Anegawa SW2 remix is played on Anegawa in Mercenary Mode. |

Yes I was just quickly typing two characters that feature on the stage and not the only since I can remember it clear as day just as much as it featuring them in Komaki in the opening. And I was talking about Komaki's stage not having its music on the stage with XL added. Not the Mercenary Mode stage, but the real deal, the actual stage. |

Even though I'm familiar with both versions of Komaki-Nagakute, I prefer SWXL's version of it. For one thing, you can get a LOT of KOs, especially playing as Tadakatsu. There were more difficult missions as well ie the "prevent the enemy from reaching Nobukatsu" mission. Also, there were archer towers with enemy archers taking potshots at you. |

Has lost its glory since SWXL. No longer "The Stage of KOs". Odawara has that title :/. |
