Alas! The last stage of Orochi's Musou mode and certainly not the least. The stage pits Orochi and his army against various mystics like Zuo Ci, Zhang Jiao and the likes of Fu Xi, Nu Wa and Taigong Wang. It's a very confusing looking stage and it is too when you play it. At the last part where a switch takes place and disorientates you, forcing you to go one round to get to the enemies that spawn. I really love it's original design, kinda reminds me of Chi Bi, but a better, more WO version of it. The music is simply godly. I tend to rewind it over and over again when it pops up on my PSP's currently playing track. Fits the feel of the stage nicely. Opinions? |

As much as the setting is beautiful and the music nice, I found the stage boring. In terms of attack and strategy there's not much done to make it more fun to play. The turning of the central ship is predictable and nothing a good horse and some nudging of the forces can overcome. |

The stage was cool, the opening was one of the best I've seen to a stage in the game. It was a bit hard to navigate around it at first since the small bridge paths were hidden and not easily visible. But I always find following the AI always does the trick since they know where they are going. It's the same trick I use in the likes of mazes, etc. And lastly, the fight against the three mystics was the toughest in the games story I found. |

It wud be slightly easier for big honcho orochi due to his cheap C1 and jump charge. |

As you could imaging, and I'm sure it was the same case with most people, those floating machines Fu Xi summoned really made the battle awkward so I kept trying to avoid them. I think this is why it can be seen as hard and that they are somewhat intimidating. This was what I first experienced on the stage anyway. |

Just analyzing the name a bit... Considering the name for this stage was translated to "Fire River", it makes sense that the name for the English version was Hinokawa. "Hi" being the word for "Fire", "No" usually meaning "Of/The", and "Kawa" meaning "River". Thus, The name is Hi no Kawa or "River of Fire". I'm not sure if anyone understands Japanese (I pick this kinda stuff up from my older sister who's learning it) that well or already knew this, but I just wanted to point this out anyway. XD;; |

Thanks Silvy for that translation, I never worry about the names as im sure they are just something japanese related that I dont understand
but that makes sence. On the level itself, it is the best one of Orochi's story, as I didnt care to much for the story itself. But this had some fun elements to it. The shifting boat/bridge, also find it interesting of the mystic subordinates, I think it would have been a lot better and interesting if they were unique like Orochi's officers. But it was fun to fight Nu Wa, Fu Xi, and Taigong Wang at the same time. |

I like both versions of this stage, Orochi's because you get to fight all three mystics including generals with unique names and I like the Dream stage because the only thing you do in that stage is rack up kills with three awesome monsters on the field... The music obviously fits Orochi and makes the stage have an epic, decisive feel like Kotodama Runner and the stage design was similar to Koshi Castle except replace most of the field with a fire river...

You know what, I've recently been thinking of the same. Their army is big enough, but yours, its tiny... though this may of been because he lost most to Nobunaga on the stage before or that they wanted you to struggle (excepting for you to use Orochi as well, perhaps?) |

This is probably my favorite new stage. I always loved the boat theme of Chi Bi, and this is sort of like Chi Bi Extreme edition. As for how the level goes, I enjoyed it for the most part. I liked the whole onslaught of magic strategies. |

Yeah, the stage is very nice. But the only thing I don't like is that there r a few peoples only. The place is very nice just like Red Cliff (also known as Chi Bi) but if there were many soldiers, then the stage can be considered 5 star difficulty. But 2nd thought, the music and the landskape is very beautiful. Also, it is easy to get weapons too.
