Due to me being a fanboy of DW3, I have to say that it was my favorite version of the battle. With 6's coming in second place because of Zhang Liao's overpowered charge. Though the stage lacked Gan Ning's boat arrival in this one version. DW3 made it possible to have a huge bundle in the middle area where Taishi Ci gets killed. Zhang Liao's ambush at Sun Quan, Gan Ning's ambush at Wei HQ and the fact it was hard to choose to save Lu Xun in the top right or Lu Meng in the bottom left. This was easily one of my DW3 highlights. |

I love He Fei, all versions of it, besides DW4 (which I just don't really remember). DW2 you could only be Wu, but I never really cared. It was an epic stage, Dian Wei across the small bridge in the center which led both ways, north or east, as you advanced Zhang Liao ambushed your main camp, then Gan Ning appeared in the East from the cliffs with a cutscene of his archers shooting down some charging enemies. DW3 is also great as you mentioned above, was great for mutil-player as well, both sides had a great battle here. Gan Ning was tough to beat for the average leveled characters, which was good. DW5 was great, especially as Zhang Liao. You could kill many enemies and you could see the text of the enemy fearing you, that was a great touch IMO. Zhang Liao being my fav char in DW5, it was really great having that involved. DW6 was good, though a bit annoying. The water below was bad if you knocked someone into it, once I knocked Zhang Liao in as Gan Ning, then failed the objective to kill him quickly after he arrived, since he swam and we couldn't properly fight. Overall though, I love the level. |

I like He Fei, especially DW3, but the DW5 Sucks, IMO. I cant wait to play it in DW6 |

I agree with Sanada, the fifth is awesome when using Zhang Liao. One of the best levels in the game as he really gives the Wu army something to be scared of. Sun Quan became speechless at the end. |

This stage was okay in terms of layout and formations of the troops. But one thing which really annoys me, was how broken the Wu side was in that stage when played on the Wei side (Dynasty Warriors 5). Even when Wu are down to the smallest bit of morale bar, whenever Gan Ning arrives as reinforcements, you only had two options from there: 1. Head over and kill him immediately. 2. Kill the commander before he kills your commander. As soon as he arrives, the small red area just keeps on expanding at a rate which you could not keep up, and within five minutes, it's game over, no matter how much of an advantage you had prior to his arrival. He wasn't hard at all to take down, but he was definitely a God for the allies. |

He Fei in 4 was really very mundane... though maybe I feel that way because the map was used for other stages as well. Since I played 4 first, I was never under the impression that He Fei was an important or major battle simple becuase of how.. blah it was compared to Cheng Du or Chi Bi or the like. Then I played DW5 and found out that... hey, He Fei was a pretty big deal. So.... I really do love the DW5 version, but mostly I was totally unimpressed with the DW4 version. |

haved loves he fei in ever installment i like 6's lvl the best tho just the look of it is gorgeous, tho its missing a few things like Gan Ning and Sun Quan's leap, it still rocks! use it as a full run weapon farming on master plus+ so i play it over and over dont get tired!! 3 is a close 2nd tho!! great lvl and brings back great memories DW3! this lvl more than others |

Oh yes, I didn't mention Sun Quan's leap. Oops.  I didn't like it in 4, the fictional side of things made it Sun Jian. Perhaps we will see either of these two in Ling Tong's story in DW6: Special? Since he did have a bond with Gan Ning and he also had the special extended version of Quan leaping in DW5. |

In DW3, I played on Wei side only. Poor Taishi Chi, he gets killed. This stage is so crazy when I realised Gan Ning attacked at Wei HQ and so I had to go back to the Wei HQ ( I almost reached at Wu HQ at that time). In DW4, I don't like much about the stage. Just looking at the map, I knew this stage would be too boring. In DW5, I love this version. Zhang Liao plays a big role here. He ambushes the young Sun Quan. |

Ahhhhhh,He Fei a perfect stage but with hyper Zhang Liao or Hyper Gan Ning in either both sides and i dont really enjoy in Wei nor Wu nor Lu Bu's in DW6.....Cause is either too complicated ,too hard or too easy.But I like Sun Jian's cause it just simply finish Cao pi then Zhang Liao then Cao Cao.Such that normal |

DW4: Playing He Fei was quite challenging especially when I was getting Sun Quan's 10th level weapon but that is what made the stage fun. It took me a few tries to do it but it was worth it. DW5: I don't mind this stage much since I played it so many times. Zhang Liao gave me a few problems when doing it on higher difficulties but it wasn't as bad. Wei side seems easier. Btw, I love the music for this stage. It's one of my favorites. DW6: Hyper Zhang Liao seems to know how to make things difficult but the stage itself is pretty easy to get around. Wei side once again is the easiest to play. DW6 Special: Zhang Liao killed my Taishi Ci 2 times and he even killed Sun Quan when I accidently ignored him to try and finish the map quickly during my first play through on easy which I wasn't too happy about but lucky I did an interim save after he appeared on that stage everytime I screwed up. |

By the way I wnat to share my experience in He Fei in DW PSP,and I could say unless I use Lu Bu I cannot in the battle in Normal,Hard neither Chaos.... Wu: Insanity avanlanche of reniforcements at the beginning of 5 minutes and if you try to kill Zhang Liao who was attacking the BIG DEPOT.....BIG TROUBLE.......Kill until him left little bit life he say......"Everyone gather here!"Next second perhaps 20 sec......Sima Yi,Xu Zhu,Xu Huang............ arrived in the battle and unless your are a REALLY REALLY REALLY PRO DW Superb player then you can kill them all.......without using Lu Bu.Ahhhhhhh And if you lucky send Zhang Liao back and conqured that Depot....You will either find yourself surronded or busy in saving the depot next few moments after finish the second one......Lu Meng and Gan Ning is scary cat here.....I help them in the battlefield and they retreated to their own base??????????? Wei: Stupid idoit SSX who kill me everytime cause she always caught up with me and kill me by combo few 10 times with all her bodyguards..... Worse than Lu Bu And Zhang Liao is a sitting duck.......do nothing at all |
