<_< i really think that SW1 ueda is better cos its more like a catsle unlike SW2 its like a hidden fort which is tiny as and sw1 is more challeging due to ambushs etc |

I get easily lost in both of them but i think they're ok. the one in SW1 looked like a maze to me but i don't like the one in SW2 because the castle has different floors >< |

Yeah, I think I prefer the second since its a bit simpler, not too sure yet though. The castle in Ueda in SW1 was tricky to navigate and therefore a bit aggravating to experience. Whereas in SW2 you had the underground but it was easier to move around and guess where to go. |

I liked the first game's Ueda Castle more. It had an actual stage theme and the castle and the surrounding area was both much bigger and lacked the really stupid tunnels. What I don't like is how Ueda Castle doubles as Numata Castle in both games (although in SW1:XL they didn't bother to hide the fact that it was Ueda Castle), but as 'Numata' Castle the first one is still better (doubly so because in SW2 the path on the right requires you actually step in the castle and you can't take the Horse in there) |

I prefer the SW1 version over SW2. SW1's version just felt a lot more desperate for the Sanada, and the Tokugawa put up more of a fight. In SW2, I didn't much care for both Kanetsugu and Keiji showing up to help. One would be fine, but both seems overkill. I never found their presence to be a necessity when playing as the Sanada. |
