I love this stage because the map is big, a lot of surprises, and Betrayals.

I like playing both the Western Army and the Eastern Army
My thoughts are pointing to such a violent world.

Really? I thought the map was too small, actually. The center of the battlefield seemed too crowded and there wasn't much going on around the edges of the battlefield. If you ask me, the battle was partially ruined because player literally had to be in two or three places at the same time. This goes for both Western and Eastern forces. Also, some things didn't make much sense... such as Mori and Kikkawa's defection (it would be better if they left the battlefield instead), and Hanzo serving Eastern forces when playing for Western Army (understandable, though, since Tokugawa forces are lacking playable characters at the moment).

Of course, I'm only talking about Free Mode version. Characters like Motochika, Nene, Yoshihiro (not the Dream version), Musashi and Masamune had great Sekigaharas. Free Mode version, though, was a big disappointment.

I agree, I think the map was too small for what is supposed to be the premier battle of the game. I think it should have been twice as big. I mean on DW Wu Zhang is a huge stage and this should be as well. Other than that I liked it save for the fact that too many people had it. Whether it be part of their normal musou mode or their gaiden.

Unique takes of Sekigahara are the ones I enjoyed. The main version of the stage seemed to be lacking in some areas.

Wanna talk about overrated characters, meet the birth of the overrated stage. This stage is good, but lacking in "epicness". (if thats a word) For the end all be all battle, its small, and really lacking in anything special.

There are plenty of named officers to fight such as hyper Musashi, Tadakatsu, & escaping Yoshihiro. But outside of stopping cannons, there's not really any missions in the regular version of it. Letting the defectors defect is more fun than preventing them. I laugh everytime Hanzo approaches Kobayakawa and he says that line before he defects.

Though the Yukimura and Yoshihiro (non dream) versions have their moments. Tadakatsu may be at his best in Yuki's version, and rescuing the officers from that losing battle is true to Shimazu's character in that game. But so many have the stage, after you play it with Nene for the last time, it really loses alot of its luster. Even with giving out spankings to the Eastern army. I even forget at times that Nagamasa has it too, that has a redeeming quality as you finally get to play as the Azai and Oda together.

By the time you have completed most of the stories, you really are feeling sick of the sight of this stage. Its used too many times and the whole game is based around it like how SW was based around Nobunaga Oda. Though I do agree with the comments here about the dreams being better, especially Yoshihiro's. Plus on the normal scenario, Western VS Eastern, and the defection occurs, Yoshihiro will rip straight through your forces instantly killing officers that come into his area of attack. It maybe a cheap function to put in the game, but it makes it memorable to say the least. I just wish that it would've had more of these happening. Not only does it make it more challenging, but also memorable, like I just said, and gives a bit more praise to a character. So its not just Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Ieyasu and Tadakatsu getting all the credit.

the thing its missing is Naomasa Ii he started the attack against orders. i have fun with it but it can get irritating just like in dw with Chi Bi half of the shu characters had it in there story modes and half of them wasn't even there in the first pllace

i agree though the map is small needs to be liek as gtown said Wu Zhang Plains

I'm warning you guys! It's not safe to stand in the devil's path!

By the time that line stopped playing, nearly more than half of the eastern army was already gone.

The best unique version IMO is Hideyoshi's and Nene's.

Sekigahara has a very epic feel to it. It sort of feels like the equavalent of the Wu Zhang Plains from dynasty warriors.
