Yi Ling; The Fire Attack Stage

But the theme song is absolutly awsome and the maze was ownage

KOEI Warriors Faction Founder & KOEI Game Promoter Posts: 844 Group: Members Member #10,622 Joined: October 26, 2007	Well out of all the Yi lings i played this is what i think of them DW3: Didn't feel like a battle`for revenge (i didn't know it was at the time anyway lol) but it certainly was challenging and annoying when you're in the maze. DW4: Definately a fun stage although there wasn't a proper stone sentinal maze in this the fact you could change the outcome of the battle made up for it. DW5: Quite an interesting version but it didn't appeal to me that much as it felt more like a skirmish rather than a battle for revenge. DW6: Now i may be one of the few to actually say that this stage is EPIC the Soundtrack tells you Shu is looking for revenge and Wu is ready for it The unstoppable Wu Fire attack makes this more challenging besides the fire attack only covers ONE side which you're only on for a short period of time to wipe out the forces there since the Wu main Camp is NOT in the fire zone. But when i played this stage for both sides eventually i got through the Stone sentinal maze as Wu forces by memorizing it from the Shu forces scenario which shows that it's quite easy to figure out as it does a sort of J shape. All in all Yi Ling is fun to play but i would like to see the Wu scenario of Zhou Tai killing Sha Moke since Wu also had a score to settle as well as Shu Edited by SJFaith, Oct 19 2009, 08:51 PM.

Yeah,but IIRC,in the battle,Guan Yu is ambushed by Zhou Yu and Lu Meng,which probably represents Mai Castle or so. But DW2 is quite fictional as well. Man,there is Dian Wei at Wu Zhang Plains.

KOEI Warriors Faction Founder & KOEI Game Promoter Posts: 844 Group: Members Member #10,622 Joined: October 26, 2007	Which version if it's the one from DW6 you do a sort of J shaped path into the center from the south entrance it's quite easy once you memorise it on the Shu scenario.
