What do you think of MO's Wu Zhang Plains?

I thought the MO version was awesome, it was just repelling the enemies, then swooping in for the kill, it was just epic like most Wu Zhang Plains
Haven't played the MO2 version, but from videos it looks pretty good.
This is probably my favorite stage in MO to play ^_^

meh, i find that all the Wu Zhang levels...on pretty much all games, they just seem to be a chore, and just a pain at times to get the special items/weapons/etc you need on that level, since the difficulty of that level is so damn high on all the games

Credits go to TNC for the awsome sig (^.^)

Wu Zhang (WO version) = Win

Wu Zhang (WO2 version) = EPIC Win

As SW-7 in the first WO, there was plenty of enemy officers plus an endless spawning gate providing more than enough peons to raise the KO count. The stage progressed nicely with Shingen's and Kenshin's arrival on the battlefield triggered with cutscenes culminating in their epic ride together, united against a common enemy. The dialogue in this stage was the icing on the cake. Keiji, Shingen and Da Ji all delivered exceptional lines.

As Shu-8 in WO2, I have yet to experience the full scale of this battle. However, it being the final stage in the storyline, including a final battle with Shin Orochi, this stage is sure to not disappoint. Plenty of enemies to wipe out, including many of the new Orochi officers. The dramatic Decisive Battle track begins the stage, helping to build anticipation leading up to the final showdown with Shin Orochi. The map is reversed from it's WO counterpart to add a bit of twist.

Not familiar enough with DW to compare these to the DW version, but this stage ranks as one of my favorite stages in the WO series ^_^

This stage gives me mixed emotions over the course of each of its incarnations in the series I've seen.

DW3, huge and very maze-like. Especially playing as Wei making your way to Zhuge Liang on that middle plateau. Then there are the numerous traps and weapons.

DW4, classic and historical aspects of taunting Sima Yi when you clear the west gate. Each officer you play as says something unique. This version is clearly the better one no matter which side you play as with all the unique scenes, reinforcements, and it probably changes the most of all the stages in the game depending on what you do previously in musou mode.

DW5, this is a tough stage, but not unachievable on chaos. 1000 kills easily here anytime you want really.

WO, who doesn't love the lines in this one? Plus its great for weapon and experience farming as you like. Nobunaga, Shingen, and Kenshin pulling it all together for the final run at "Snakeboy", doesn't get much better that that.

Yeah, the WO version is plain epic: Shingen and Kenshin making a glorious return and helping you out with the engineers, the cooperation of the 3 daimyo and the challenge the stage provides. And there's of course Keiji's hilarious quote :P

I find the DW4 version not really impressive for a final battle. Seems Koei placed all their effort in the battles at the kingdoms' capitals

I hate the DW5 version: i don't like the music, your allies die too fast (Wei), you gotta do something about the supply line and fast, the catapults (Shu),...
The name's Pang Tong. I do what it takes to get the job done. Nothing more DW Strikeforce/ Pang Tong duel

Remember guys, keep this for WO and WO2 only. I created the DW stage topic yesterday to talk about that series.

This was probably one of my favorite stages when doing the Samurai Warriors story. Tons of enemies (Nobunaga, Ma Chao, and Mitsuhide leveled up a lot for me in this match), nice dialogue, and a nice plot. I kinda expected Shingen and Kenshin to aid and join you during different matches, not together at once :o

It's definitely one of my favorite stages in the game, and hopefully it'll be one of my favorites in the second one too.

it was great in DW4 because it was very long and big. So many officers would fight in that battle. And it took me about 40 mins to complete that stage.

This stage is wonderful. ^_^ In WO1 its annoying that there is less enemies but many officers. In WO2 it's Shu's final stage again. The Shu version totally wins because more generals and enemies.
My thoughts are pointing to such a violent world.

This stage was definitely fun in WO2, though I think it went too quickly since "Wang and his hidden balls" made quick work of most officers. I had Ina to shred the crowds and reduce the occasional lag in confined areas.

Not really any memorable quotes like in the first WO version of Wu Zhang, but the Decisive Battle track makes up for that ... up until the point that its switched again for the generic one :/

Ooops, I meant DW5 Wu Zhang Plains. It is the hardest level in the game with a difficulty level of five stars, especially on chaos.
