I thought I may as well post the stage Kuzegawa, a virtual clone of Tetorigawa with a different objective.
It was pretty annoying I remember because there was a condition of making sure that all of the specified or no allies die, A fairly speedy stage overall.
Thats as much as I can remember.

I've edited a poll choice since two could of been seen as similar.

I liked it. Though Tedorigawa was at night, this stage was during the day and the flowers were more attention grabbing for this reason. And mission-wise, there were a few objectives like killing Kojiro quickly and as well as stopping the Eastern army's escape. And like you said, you had to help the likes of Ginchiyo and Yoshihiro which all were fairly apart which made it slightly tough.

I loved the music in the stage as well.

I remember struggling with this stage when I played it as Ginchyo the first couple of times. I ignored the retreating eastern army officers a bit too long and they escaped. lol!

But I enjoy the music, its pumping and gives you a sense of urgency. Plus the addition of seeing it through Kojiro's eyes in 2XL is great as well. Plenty of named officers, changing conditions, this is a stage I learn most of my rarer skills from (for those that have the stage) outside of Komaki-Nagakute.

Its another clone stage (Tedorigawa) ala DW4, but I dont complain about that. SW1 had alot more of those. If only the darn thing was in Free Mode!

<_< this stage can be annoying due to the objectives like not letting any allie officers die can be rough if not done right or fast enough to save them all but overall a fun stage once you get the hang of it

Lately I've been thinking about something that came up speaking with a friend about how Sekigahara is portrayed in SW2...

Just WHY do we have Kuzegawa in SW2? It was a tiny skirmish that amounted to nothing actually happening. Why do we get this junk copy stage instead of one that actually mattered, like the Battle of Gifu Castle or Siege of Fushimi Castle?

IMO, it's a cheap knockoff of Tedorigawa just added to give us filler and for Sakon to have at least a little notability working for the Western Army. But then they could've had him leading the defense at Gifu or attack on Fushimi instead in that case.
Playing: Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, Nobunaga's Ambition: Iron Triangle, Bladestorm, Gundam: G Generation Wars, iDOLM@STER: Wondering Star, Super Robot Wars A: Portable, Touhou 12.3: Hisoutensoku

Its possibly one of the worst stages in the game. Its just an annoying garbage stage. Crap objectives, crap layout, uses another map and poorly I might add.

SRS is right, we could have gotten some Gifu stages instead of this rubbish.

Its not a bad stage, although I do agree that Fushimi or Gifu would be better

I would say because this is the only other opportunity where the East vs. West battle could play out. Since SW2 is based around Sekigahara the main perk of the story is people siding with one side or the other, and historically it all really did end after one battle.

So why not pad it?

I found this stage to be a really crap design choice on Koei's part. It's nigh on impossible on higher difficulties and it just seems like a lazily thrown in stage as it's another case of a stage being re-used.
