For anyone who hasn't played DW5, this is the final battle between Shu and Wu. There are a few interesting cutscenes and we get to see some character interaction and good dialogue from some NPCs to PCs. Tell us your thoughts on this stage.

I really liked it myself because of it's size and the amount of troops on it. Though some of them were a bit of a pain in the butt (Ma Chao comes to mind) I was glad it was put in.

Well, i dont like this stage that much because it has my least favorite line in it. The reason its my least favorite quote is because Ma Chao said it :( . The only line he ever said that bugged me. He said "Wu would even attack the innocent". I hate this line because these so called "innocent" are attacking Wu with their own weapons. What is Wu supposed to do? Be careful not to hit any of them while attacking the Shu soldiers, that is plain stupidness. Ok :P Thats enough of me raving about that.

I really like the stone sentinal maze, but I kind of wish, as Wu, you had to go through it. But you dont, you have a choice of which way to go through. But the battle is still a lot of fun, It envolves a lot of reinforcements and I like that.

I find the stage enjoyable. I found it irritating that Shu and Wei had a final battle, and Wu and Wei having a final battle. "What about Shu and Wu?" They fixed that finally.
Though...a certain justice lover kept killing my officers in the first few times I played the stage.
It's wide spread, and fun to do...even if I wish you couldn't have the option of going around the maze.
Oh yeah...the Arbalists...
On chaos, they can really hamper your progress...(A certain instance of death by peons comes to mind.)
Over all, I like it.

I don't mind the stage and it has some cool quotes coming from Ma Chao against the Wu army. Plus the maze is not too bad and has those super powered peons at the end. Oh, and also Liu Chan looking really weak and in no control with Shu.

I only liked the Shu side though. Ma Chao's role in there I suppose. When playing the Wu side Ma Chao is in hyper mode and with musou rage. Xing Cai is in hyper mode. Yue Ying arrives in Bai Di Castle for reinforcements. It proves that the Wu side is a lot harder than Shu side.
My thoughts are pointing to such a violent world.

While the battle was fictional it doesn't decrease from its value as a stage, Bai Di Castle was great as far as I'm concerned. And I really believe that is where Xing Cai truly shined, she seemed to be a central character for that stage in my opinion. I liked the challenges the stage had to offer with all the hyper officers, the arbalists, the Stone Sentinel Maze and whatnot.
One of my favourites in DW5 =)
