It's like the funniest thing ever. Did KOEI purposely pay people to make the english script this funny? I sort of feel bad for the Voice actors for this game. There are so many that can be seen as comical when compared to the games that came afterwards. So perhaps Koei just felt to do it for the lolz? Or didn't expect such a positive response from DW3. Back then, I really didn't pay much attention... but now they do seem quite funny! I doubt Koei made DW3 to be pure laughs though... one of my favorite DW games to date.

And it was great that you could switch the characters in the cutscenes also because they were interactable. Xiahou Yuan just has bad voice acting. His DW4 one wasn't that amazing, but I suppose people like his 5 VA because its deeper for such a terrifying man. I would personally like DW3's Sun Quan and Cao Cao to return. Though they wouldn't have to do those characters again since both current ones are great.

OH MY! those are all classic, Mei Ling, thanks. starts hunting for DW3 and XL in the drawer. Zhu Rong's VA got much better with time, but i love how Zhen Ji sounds sort of like an angry school teacher, her enunciation is so proper. also her death quote was so kind: "...I wish you good fortune...my dear..."

I just think the standards for voice acting where a lot lower at the dawn of the PS2. But I like the cheesy voice acting... it's like a poorly dubbed Kung-fu movie. EDIT: Just for fun! "A dike?
