In DW4XL the stage was about the five tigers fighting to see who was the best. And to keep up with their massive KO count score was challenging enough, I've always wanted for Koei to give me a test in beating the AI and this is about as close as it gets. In DW5XL its much different, its the stage where you battle a hyper Ma Chao and get him to join you. The cutscenes are also very good as well as one of the more inspirational quotes from Liu Bei when he, Ma Chao, joins you and you welcome him to the Shu army. I just love that quote! But I'm such a fan of Liu Bei's old voice anyway. What do you think of either? |

I have never bought a DW XL before, but that one in DW4 sure sounds cool. So is it all 5 generals by themselves against tons of soldiers, because it kind of confuses me. I have always wanted to see them go against each other. Ma Chao would totally own though

Yeah, thats it. Its on the same map as Wu Territory. Its the five tigers versus a few officers and a load of peons basically. But you are scattered from each other with many to kill of course. Nothing too interesting except the challenge factor and at the end your getting the likes of Guan Yu with 400 odd KO's until the timers stopped. Also the map you get Ma Chao's 11th weapon. |
