Haven't seen him much, but he does look like a French Cao Pi. His personality is pretty impressive, also a great leader.

(finally...other people in this section of the forum :lol:) yeah, he does sorta remind you of a french version of Cao Pi... hes pretty awsome also...hmm...i forget what type of unit he leads...i think it might be a horse unit...hmm |

What do you mean by that?  And---yeah he seldom appears but at least show the others that Bladestorm is more than just Joan of Arc and Edward the Black Prince

He means that the Bladestorm discussion is very empty. Not as nearly as popular as the Dynasty Warriors boards. I don't mind this character, I guess he does look good. His confidence got a bit diminished but then later grew back in strength. I also much prefer him to the other French male blonde. |

Well, my knowledge of Bladestorm is fairly limited for now (been playing GM if you've noticed), when it picks up I'll post here more often. He uses Royal Lancers dosen't he, and I like the fact You Ji is always with him as assistant of sorts. |

Actually he uses "Sword Knight", I think it's a tougher form of Sword Horseman. PErsonally I've never led a Sword Knight team before and I'd love to. English characters who uses horses (they all tend to be very high-ranked) Edward (Royal Lancers) King of England (Royal Lancers) John Chandos (Knight I think) Philippa (Knight) John Falstof (Sword Horseman... I THINK) -- French characters who use horses (also very high-ranked) Joan of Arc (Knight) King of France (Royal Lancers) Phillipe Le Bon (Royal Lancers) Gilles de Rais (Sword Knight) Arthur de Richemont (Sword Knight) |

I enjoy the characters.  I'm not that good a player, but I pay a lot of attention to the stories...In all practicality, only YOU, the human player, can switch weapons at all. As in, one game you might feel like using clubs. Or another game, you feel like owning everyone with lancers. Well, this is not the case for AI characters, even other AI mercenaries. They all have SET squads that they lead. I dunno about their actual WEAPONS, but because, for example, Edward always leads Royal Lancers, he'll always be using that black lance of his. Since Karen always uses twin swords, she will always be using twin swords. Since You Ji always leads arbalests, he'll always be using a crossbow type weapon. |

i actually think that Karen uses just the one Sword...and as for Fastolf, just confirming that yes he does use the sword horseman  but i dont really use all that much of the horses :rolleyes:

Well, I would not be surprised, since there were many Edwards, Georges, Johns and names like that...so yeah, there probably were Aurthur's before this one, perhaps just the name that was sent down the family, as it does with many royal/noble families

Now there's an idea... Arthurian Warriors... use Lancelot, Galahad, Mordred, etc. to fight through scenarios in the Knights of Round Table era. XD But I always wondered how come we can't use the Sword Knights (Arthur de Richemont's unit, along with de Rais' and Falstolf's)... all we get is Sword Horseman and an Asian equivalent... |

Im not sure, but my guess would be because you are a mercenary. The social status of mercs werent all that good, as it says at the start of the game, so im not sure the nobles would like you using units that are of a noble upper class...and yes, I know you can use royal lancers, I think thats one exception |
