Dynasty Warriors 3 was the best for me 4 was the worst 5 was a disappointment and 6 could have been great, but they spoilt it by rushing it and 2 was a good starter |

Well i start with DW4 Hyper and felt in love with the series...than buy DW5 also on PC...love the DW4 a lot because in DW5 seems less stages...waiting for DW6 Special for PS2 since in my country PS3 cost a lot!! |

DW3 is my favorite DW game ever, DW5 is in second place. I think DW3 had the best AI in the series. |

I actually love all Dynasty Warriors series including the Warriors Oraochi. DW has quite a lot of great characters especially their costumes... Nice fashion! I wonder if the world became crazy, many people wore fantasy costumes like DW characters'. amazing though :lol: |

I voted for DW3 because this game was quite challenging for me it gets harder each time you pass a level and and the battle takes longer especially the Nannman battle and He Fei castle battle those were really long. Also the most challenging battle had to be Yi Ling in Shu side the Wu generals were just so God like. I haven't played DW2 DW4 and DW6. I thought Dw5 was ok but not as challenging as DW3 though. |

I choose DW 5, because for me DW5 give happiness to played. DW 3 maybe really good but I dont like the graphic, still bad. DW 4 is better but many stages not same with the novel. but method and difficulties for getting weapon is best! DW6, best graphic but less stage, bad character design (except Zhao Yun, Diao Chan, Sun Ce, Cao Pi), nothing 4th weapon |

I would have to disagree with you on that one. This might seem rly sad, but however addicted I am to DW, i hav only played games related to DW4 and DW5 (psp, xl, etc.). So, I can only truly grade these two games in comparison to each other. Personally, I think DW4 was very repetitive. There was the same musou mode for every force, and that really ripped the fun out of the game. Also, the graphics were nowhere as good, and it seemed very unreal, because some characters would present themselves in levels they weren't alive to see. On the other hand, DW5, has a great new system, with better challenges, and I LOVE the character personal introduction thingies where they talk, and also all the cutscenes are not the same (u no the ending one in DW4 where the leader of the force would cover their eyes from the sun and they were marching back to their city? that one drove me nuts!) The graphics are much better, and the by the time I hit legend mode i fainted (i played DW: Special, on PC). so, i dont know about any others of you, but this game has truly won my heart. Anyways, on to DW6, which I so keenly want to play but i haven't actually played, so im just saying things that i have seen from reviews and heard from my friends (it's prejudice, but who cares? Some of these are actually facts.) SEVEN CHARACTERS CUT!!! that is a crime! and some important people, too. jiang wei is the most important one. back when they were making the game, i was wondering what new characters they were going to come up with, and they come up with -7. Interesting. Also, I hate the fact that not everyone has a musou mode. However, the graphics and the swimming ability and stuff like that has really gotten me rejoiced.  The new character designs are also wicked. And the levels, I hear, are great. i really want to play Hu Lao Gate. I've read the walkthough, and its great.well, anyways, this is what i think. BTW, why does everyone like Zhou Tai's dw4 costume better than dw5? i just dont get it. maybe its just me. but everyone seems to be saying that... Edited by luheuan95, Nov 28 2008, 06:47 PM.

I've only played DW3, DW5, and DW6, so I guess I can't really say, but I will anyways. I grew up with DW3, playing it at my friend's house, getting my ass kicked by Lu Bu at Hu Lao Gate, getting pwnt by Zhang Liao, Xu Huang, Zhang He, Xu Zhu and Cao Cao all at the same time at Chang Ban, and me and my friend figuring out that double musou thing, where you're close together and musou at the same time. Good memories. DW5 I never really played that far through, mostly because it bored me, but it DID get me interested in Three Kingdoms History, so, good. DW6 kinda made me happy and sad at the same time, happy, because of sweet graphics, feeling awesome after killing so many peons as Zhao Yun, and Dueling was kick-ass. But sad because no in-battle cutscenes, lots of clones, repetitive battle system, and no new characters, as well as the removal of characters, which was uneeded. Overall, I would say DW3, but I accidently voted DW5. I don't think sometimes. |

You haven't played DW4? I'd emplore you to do so if you want a fundamental difference in how they approach the Musou mode. Plus it's a fun game with crazy AI in general. |

I voted for Dynasty Warriors 5! DW2- Never played. DW3- I played DW5 before I played this one. I rented DW5 and I was instantly hooked, but I had to returned it. Few weeks later, when I was going to rent it again. It wasn't there! And DW3 was the only one, and so since DW5 had so much more; I liked it more. Plus, DW5 was the second one I played. DW4- This was the first one I played. I played this one for Xbox and I didn't really understand it. I played it first in 2-player, and you know how foggy it is when playing 2 player and so I didn't really like it. I quit playing it soon after. DW5- I rented this and went over my friend's house and played it all night. It was so amazing. I remember playing as Zhao Yun and my friend playing as Ma Chao and us trying to take down Lu Bu at Hu Lao Gate. I also remember playing as Zhao Yun and my other friend as Xing Cai playing on both sides of Wu territory. Taishi Ci was a monster, but fighting against Sun Ce! Oh damn, that was so hard. DW6- Currently playing. It's really different, but I like it but not as much as DW5. I'm sad that a lot of the characters I liked didn't get the Musou Mode and Unique Moveset treatment (Sun Ce and Guan Ping!) And some characters were cut (XING CAIIIII!). I'm not sure if I like the renbu, because I like doing combos with the square and the triangle. But I do like some of the designs though and I like some of the character's changed weapons (I like Sun Ce with a spear; don't hate me.) But DW5 is my choice! I went with DW3. It was the first I played, and I think it's the best one. It had the best map's and character outfits. I think DW4 was the worst DW game. I liked DW5 a lot, I think it was a vast improvement over DW4, but I wasn't hooked on it like I was with DW3. I have not played a lot of DW6, mostly because my 360 broke recently, and because the character clones got me mad.

Dynasty Warriors 5 Its fun to do all the story modes and its very entertaining. I like almost all the newcomers in it and taking people into random Free Mode stages never gets old. its says fun and enteretaining for a long time and it doesnt get boring |

Only ones I've played are 4, 5, and 6. I played the 3rd a little bit but only free mode multiplayer, so I can't say much. Especially since I can't remember it. DW4 - I loved the approach with Kingdom Mode. I do feel the could've done more with it but I have to say, the battles and everything were awesome. It was the first one I played and it definetly drew me into the series. DW5 - I was a bit disapointed with this. IMO, too many musous. I got bored of the repitition and only played enough for me to unlock anyone. One thing I love about this game is it introduced my favorite DW character, Cao Pi. DW6 - At this point its my favorite. I recently got the PS2 version and I love it. The musous are really well done, with amazing character development. Not too many musous so I think I'll actually finish all of them. While some characters are clones, I love all the movesets which is something I've never been able to say. The renbu system is amazing IMO. Not the most complete game but its a step to something really awesome. Makes me excited for the next DW games.  So my vote WOULD be for DW6. But unfortunately I must've voted before I got it.
