DW2-Played it at my friend's home and felt that still ok but nothing to me...... DW3-Friend's home again.It had really improved a lot but that Lu Bu is madness...... DW4-This is why I get hooked on this DW series and i consider good and almost perfect when.......new series DW5-Ok this is the best!!!!!!!!!Nothing to say cause the most character ever appeared and it is really prfect except it is not on PS3 DW6-This is when I can really played it everyday if I can cause i did not own a PS2....But whatever it is quite a dissapointment to me really cause stage,character,MS system get cut!!!!!!!!!!!!Nvm at least the graphic and the voice acting are better.......... So I chose DW5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

DW2: First game I played and it was a decent game. I liked the music but my god the voices were horrendous and the gameplay was annoying at times. DW3: I don't own this game but some the videos I saw on youtube, I just couldn't help myself but to laugh. DW4: I was disappointed with this game. I had a hard time getting into storymode mainly because each characters had to do the same stages for each kingdom and that was no fun for me. Some of the voices were fine, while others were not so great. DW5: I love this game! I enjoy doing individual storylines for each of the characters since it tells us more about themself as a person and not the kingdom itself so much. The voice acting was more enjoyable to listen to as well. DW6: I like this game but still upset that they removed a few of the characters, limit the amount of stories to only 3-4 characters per kingdom, and cloning most of them which makes gameplay boring at times. The fact they killed SSX and Liu Bei's voice in this game, I lost interest in there relationship when playing this game. It's just not the same. |

don't have favorites and i'm looking for advices and i can't find the appropriate topic for posting this. i have PS 2 and i'm looking for DW games and which to play first. is the storyline connected or? i hope that i wouln't must play all these games because they are so many including spin off's and newly Gundam series. |

DW3's C5-2 pwns all charge attacks, and THE ARCHERS in DW3 is the most dangerous (check dw6 ps2... No archers there...) more challenging, dw3 is the coolest musou game for the musou maniac! |

My favourite DW is probably DW5! It's my first proper DW experience! DW5 isn't perfect but I think it's an improvement over DW4. More characters, more (and better) Musou, larger stages, cooler costumes, better graphic and the list goes on! DW4, I don't know! I don't like DW4 that much! Maybe that's partly due to the fact that I picked up DW4 after I'd already played DW5. DW6, meh! I don't like the new changes. The ability to climb is cool. Renbu Unlimited attacks sounded good on paper but it's very repetitive in practice! I don't like most of the character designs either! Their fashion are terrible IMO... at least for ancient Chinese warriors!

I have to go with DW3 as well. It was one of the few DW games that was actually really challenging, but super fun at the same time. Plus all the guitar shredding was awesome xD. ------------- Waiting US release of Phantasy Star 0 |

It was awesome how hard it was, even on normal xD xD xD. Especially the last levels LOL, so hard xD, bowman would take away like 20 % of your health with 1 hit, it was real fun ^^ |

Definitely 3, was my introduction to the series. Plus it was the last time we'd hear those japanese voice actors. |

for me i say dw6 because the graphics are much much better than the other series and their are other things we can do in the battle we cant do in the other series i know the story isnt the same and the charcters arnt fully there but still i think it the best series

Maybe Its cause I'm born from another generation, but how come so many people like 3 better? I think 4 was real good, the versus mode was beast. But DW6, that was nasty stuff right there. New gameplay, controls, graphics, it was sexy. |

I gotta go with DW4. A lot of it comes from fond memories of playing with my bother as we ran around like idiots on every stage (and all the stupid DW4-related stuff we did in general). It was also my first game of the series, so there's that. MMMM, NOSTALGIA. Although in terms of raw game play, I think I have to vote for DW5. Pity the death groans/cries of the enemy soldiers DROVE ME UP THE FREAKING WALL. I hated those voices so much, I couldn't play the game unless it was muted. And that was no fun! So I just went back to DW4 until DW6 came out. |

i only played dw2 and dw4. and the dw2 was in jap version. so i could not really understand it. so far dw4's the best. until i get to play dw6. |

I haven't played DW3 since I was eight  I don't really remember much of it, sadly. DW4 wasn't that bad, but the fact that everyone had to share their kingdom's story felt kinda out of place. Like, Jiang Wei wasn't even born yet, and sometimes he's fighting in the Yellow Turban Campaign in this game. The storyline was also basically the same, so it kinda got boring for me every time I played Musuo mode. The bodyguards were OK, but sometimes they'd kill steal and gang up on an officer I'm trying to beat up myself. I liked DW5 a lot because it gave the characters more individuality. The 'legend of' thing was a nice touch, and a plus was the fact that the characters narrated their own stories and gave everyone their 15 minutes of fame. The new weapon system was a refreshing change, with new attributes instead of the same ol' weapon just stocking up with EXP points. I didn't really see the point of having the base system, however... It didn't affect the battles at all, except the minor scenario in Chang Ban where you had to protect a base to ensure a fire attack worked, or getting a load of Bao Zi from the pots in the Supply Bases. I haven't played DW6, and I'm not too keen on buying it either (I'm still pretty preoccupied with WO2). The whole 'let's make everyone look super super awesome and cut some people out!' turned me off. The gameplay and graphics look interesting though. But the bottom line is that even with a few extra features, the DW series for me is getting a bit repetitive
