Sun Ce! =D I like quite a lot in Wu but he is by far my favourite! He was one of the first characters I went when I first started playing DW and I have loved him ever since. Its his fun loving personality which got me liking him not to mention his design <3 I find him very good looking! As for his tonfas, I find it great bashing peons with them haha :lol: I admit I miss his tonfas and old design in DW6....the spear thing and look don't really do it for me but he's still my Wu fav!  Wow I'm surprised Zhou Tai has so many votes

Torn between Zhou Yu and Ling Tong, but i had to pick Zhou Yu as i've been a fan of his longer. I've always like his sword since DW3 and I was even happier with his DW6 weapon. The moveset with that is IMO the best ever in any DW game. His personality isn't my favorite but i like it enough to still have him as my joint top DW (and wu) character. |

@Yashakim: Don't be surprised, I wasn't. I'm expecting for Xiao Qiao, Gan Ning, Zhou Tai and Sun Ce to be in the top 5 by the end of next year. Besides, I think some votes heavily rely on their DW6 weapon changes. Its just like how Zhuge Liang has become so much more popular with his creative new moveset. Whereas before he wasn't. |

If I factored in the DW6 changes my vote would be for either Zhou Tai or Lu Xun. But since Ive never really liked the game, my vote goes to my dear Ce.
 I just love his personality and the powerful moveset that requires the use of his arms and legs. To me, Its just lovely to watch him dance on the field. I dislike what happened to him in dw6 where i feel that he got kinda stupid. |

Zhou Tai is incredibly popular on both sides of the Pacific, really. Though for different reasons on each side - character-wise as a supporting character, gameplay-wise he's an easy-to-play swift offensive character. |

I love Sun Shang Xiang & Sun Ce.I think both of their personalities are awsome, I love their deisgns and how the costumes are. And, they both fight great!!

Lu Meng indefinetly. In DW 5 below, he was amazing his C2 and C5 I loved . Also he was an amazing general historically defeating Guan Yu and all . He went from warrior to scholar which is another reason I like him. |

Ahh! This was a very close one for me. As much as I wanted to vote Sun Jian, I ended up picking Taishi Ci. I have been a big fan of his for a long time... (well Sun Jian too... you can see this was hard! lol!) |

Gan Ning and Zhou Tai. Intersting and fun to play as with magnificent (Look and damage wise) musou attacks. One's loud and crazy, the other quiet and level-headed. |

It's only pretty recently that I've realised just how good a lot of the Wu characters are so it's pretty hard to choose. There's plenty in contention but I reckon Taishi Ci just about edges it for me, I'd give a specific reason if I oculd but to be honest I don't think there really is one. The likes of Lu Meng, Gan Ning (simply because he is the best in DW3 by a ridiculously long way), Sun Shang Xiang and Zhou Yu are all good characters too and qhat it is that seperates Taichi Ci from these for me I'm not quite sure, I suppose "Don't look at me like that, I'm a serious man!" did help him along the way though. |

In terms of DW (il get to fav historically after) it has changed with most instalments! Gan Ning in 3! damn OP in 3, his musou was chaotic (added with true musou it was indestructible) loved his voice too in 3, Dong Stone did a great job in 4, 5 and WO but in 3 his chara and Dun's were the standout! (would love to know why Dong stone still did Jiao and Xu Chu but didnt get Ning in 6?? the ADR director needs his head read!!) In 4 and 5 cant go past Zhou Tai! Havin the tachi with his sword sheath stance was awesome! In 6 its has become Sun Ce! best lookin character in the game, to his greek type chest plate out of place i know but it just looked awesome! best and most fun to use of the spear weilders by far!!! Historically and in the book id have to go with Ce from what ive read so far!! best part of the book so far is is duals with Taishi Ci ( which the translator Moss Roberts recommends you can skip over??) |

I voted for Sun Quan as he is my favorite currently with DW6, but I do not have 1 favorite all-time Wu character because my top 5 favorites change places with every game. These are my favorite Wu characters, all tied for 1st: - Sun Quan - Lu Meng - Taishi Ci - Zhou Tai - Huang Gai DW3 - My favorites are Huang Gai & Lu Meng. Huang Gai has that amazing barbarian costume and his VA is one of the VERY few that I like in that game. Lu Meng also has an awsome costume, and I've always loved his moveset. Zhou Tai was generic, so he's irrelevant in this game. I didn't like Taishi Ci's costume and big cement looking weapons. I hated Sun Quan's board that was on his head. DW4 - My favorites are Zhou Tai, Huang Gai, & Lu Meng. Zhou Tai looks so badass in this game, and his moveset is amazing. I love Huang Gai's new roman warrior looking costume, his amazing VA (Which is IMO the best he's ever had), and his moveset. I love Lu Meng's costume (My favorite of his from all of the games) and his moveset has always been reliable. His VA IMO was pretty cool, and while his current one is better, I didn't hate hearing him speak. Taishi Ci is pretty cool in the game, and his costume is a huge improvement over his in DW3. Sun Quan has a great movest and VA and I liked playing as him, but I still hate his board and long robes. DW5 - My favorites are Taishi Ci, Sun Quan, & Zhou Tai. Taishi Ci got a great musou mode & his costume is the best he's ever had at this point. Sun Quan finally lost the board and the long robes, and retained his amazing moveset & VA. Zhou Tai still has that amazing moveset, but his costume, while good, isn't as good as his DW4 one. Lu Meng got a great VA, he's kept his good moveset, but his costumes is my least favorite of all his costumes. Huang Gai lost his amazing DW4 VA and lost his string of amazing costumes. His costume isn't bad, but it's the worst he's had in the franchise. DW6 - My favorite is Sun Quan. Sun Quan's new appearance is simply phenomenal. He looks younger, let his hair down, and got some amazing armor. He's finally lost the put-up hair and robes. Not only that, he's kept that amazing VA of his. Taishi Ci has an amazing new weapon/moveset and costume, but he's lost his old VA and now has a terrible one. I don't really like Zhou Tai in this one. He has a cool new VA and a great new look, but his moveset doesn't fit him and ruins him for me. Lu Meng has an amazing new costume and has finally let his hair down. He's kept his good DW5 VA and has a cool new moveset. Huang Gai has an awsome costume and while I'm extremely happy they finally gave him gray hair, I don't like the mohawk. His moveset is also bad because it doesn't fit him, not to mention it's the worst of all the club characters. So you see, I can't pin down 1 guy and call him my #1. |

It's Taishi Ci for me, he is an absolutley DEVASTATING character to use in DW5 (Using the Wolf SLayers in Destiny Mode, you can kick some serious ass). I've grown quite fond of playing as him. THe first time I played as him was in DW3:XL, I mistook his rods for swords (don't ask) and the rest is history. I prefer his DW5 apperance and movesets but wasn't too happy that his Rods were dropped for DW6. Next up would definitley be Zhou Tai, I really like his costumes and his 3rd one just screams G-Force...well to me (Battle of the Planets). I can happily use any of the Wu characters (in DW5). |

Lu Xun. He has been my favorite character ever since DW4, and him in DW 6 just makes me likes him more. I guess a part of the reason because I like him being a young intelligent strategist (I've read his background histories and it's awesome). Game-wise, he's a fast character and can combos very fast, which I like very much. Especially in MO where his special attacks rocks (at least, for me). |

Sun Ce comes close,but my favorite is Sun Quan.Though he's lacking a sense of humour,I like his weapon before and after Dynasty Warriors 6.Very effective,his moveset is (says Yoda).He's a bit wimpy if you think about it,however,I mean,being saved billions[obvious exaggeration] of times by one man. |

i love the Sun Family in General. Their bonds were what made the Wu force look humane IMHO. Sun Jian was effective gameplay. Great moveset. And he's a papa tiger. D'awwww XD SSX was still awesome while she was in her Chakram days, She's no longer a great person in DW6. She whines, has an annoying voice, and let's face it, she has no Sun-Spunk. Sun Quan was great in DW4-5. His serious love for the kingdom was something good to see. And I thought Skip did a great job with his voice. DW6 was a major change. He was no longer serious. Although effective, but the look reminds me that his seriousness will be blinded by shiny face. But among them, and maybe Wu, and generally the series, it has always been Sun Ce. Whatever he did in History or Gamewise, he has that magic zing that people like. I don't want a long list of whys as Even in DW6, I still think he was awesome... He didn't look hyper or restless, but you gotta admit, he's still Ce. He still hyper. He still good-hearted, fun loving, and very energetic. That was Ce. Brava Lu Xun was second because he is like a kitten: Smart, classy, incredibly innocent, and sweet. XD
