What Legend Mode do you think is best in DW4XL and in DW5XL? For DW4 I don't have a specific favourite. Most of them are good in it. Everyone has a unique Legend Mode, and most of them are good. For DW5 I would say Ma Chao and Pang De's is best. I don't know why I like it most, but in DW5 I didn't like many Legend Modes. I just like the whole theme of the battle...if that makes any sense

i prefered it when everyone had a Legend stage on DW4XL, cause it was a good way to get 5th weapons i was dissapointed that 5th weapons wern't in DW5XL cause i wanted to see the new characters. |

I don't remember most of them in DW4: XL but I always liked Da Qiao's, mainly because of the music and how Sun Ce was there to save her. My favorite in DW5: XL was the Husband and Wives Trial. I just loved the Zhen Ji vs. Yue Ying cutscene lol. That was the best. |

I thought Zhao Yun's 1 was the best (DW5XL), guarding the bridge against swarm of soldiers, and seeing the pissed Cao Cao. |

I don't have DW4 XL but in DW5 XL my favourite would have to be Struggle for the book because it's uniqe and has almost all (if not all) troop types. Another one of my favourites is Ru Xu Kou, that's what happens when you mess with Wu! |

on DW4:XL it's Gan Ning & Sun Ce's but in DW5:XL Ru Xu Kou but i like the one with Cao Pi in coz it's funny when the soldiers say what their planning or sumink like that then the other one is like SHUT UUUUUUUUUUUUPPP >.< |

Since I think DW4 is the best out of all of them I'd say 4XL definitely. It's just great for each of them to have their own legend mode with unique circumstances. Plus the 5th weapons were worth it in the end to add a new element to the original game. My fave had to be SSX though in that one, with Zhang Liao and Zhou Tai close behind. |

Mine would have to be the Husband and Wives Battle in DW5XL and Encounter at Yi Province Zhen Ji's DW4 Legend Mode. Zhen Ji made all those look good. Hold on Zhen Ji makes everything look good

Ha, I struggled like hell with that so I played as Huang Zhong which was astill challenging but I could do it. Yeah that'd have to be one of my favourites. |

I liked Da Qiao and Xiao Qiaos Legend in DW4XL because it was a great way to level up and was really one of the hardest in chaos mode. DW5XL goes to Zhang He for me. The layout and plot of that legend was just awesome.

I only have DW5XL. I'd have to say my favorite was the Struggle for the Book. Had every unit type, and was just enjoyable. Other than that, I was upset to see Koei once again slack off with this game and not include 5th weapons. In Xtreme Mode, has anybody else noticed they way overloaded on the archers/crossbowers showing up in the stages. I tend to come across groups of 50+ at a time, usually with fire arrows. |

Yeah I noticed that. Either Fire or Ice arrows then they got unimaginable sized groups of them. Honestly, every time I have lost Xtreme Mode, its been by archers. Well 1 time I was frozen by archers, then killed by an officer, but still the archers fault <_< |

I say a mix of both, everyone appears in their unique legend stage, and like 2 or 3 legend stage that involves 3-4 offcier of the kingdom. -Ji Yin. |

SW1XL never had an Xtreme Mode or anything. From what I've seen though, SW2XL's Mercenary Mode is the same as it, or at least very simialr. |

I personally liked DW5's Legend Mode more...mainly for the levels where it felt like each character did something different e.g. the level where Ma Chao goes one way and Pang De goes the other and they have different objectives. |

Both has to be Cao Cao and Zhou Yu's DW4 one. I had a great time in both, it portrays some of their unique parts in life. Also the battles were fun. Yuan Shao's DW4 is a bit annoying now that I remember it.:/ |

Thought I start one for the XL Legend Mode Stages seeing as there are many stages and they are like minature SW2 Gaidens for DW that establish the characters. Anyways, mine would have to be Liu Bei's Pacification of Cheng Du from DW4:Xl, it made it so that you had to resort to a very closed form of combat limited to officers and nothing else, making it difficult the first time you play. I also like Ru Xu Kou from both DW4:XL and DW5:XL, it was fun for a wild massacre. So what is everyones favourite...

DW4XL: Jiang Wei-Battle of Jian Ge I've always liked this one, it gives a sense that, this is Shu's last chance to do something, and considering that Jiang Wei has been the hot topic of debate lately, this puts him a good light DW5XL: Zhuge Liang/Jiang Wei/Wei Yan-Battle of Mt. Qi Pretty challenging if you don't know what to do. You really need to follow the strategy here in this fight. |
