Since we now know who's been given there own story modes now, why not speculate on what those stories may include? You can be silly here if ya want; this topic was made just for fun anyways.
You can include their stages and all their scenes if you'd like. Ma Chao Stages: Tong Gate, Jing Province, Mt.Ding Jun, Yi Ling, Jie Ting, and Wu Zhang Plains Synopsis: The story begins with Ma Chao already beginning his campaign of vengeance against Cao Cao; after a painful loss, he finds himself joining the forces of the virtuous Liu Bei. He vows to serve his new lord by comitting his blade of justice to the cause, yet Liu Bei comments to Ma Chao that his idea of justice (where the wicked are punished outright) is clouded. After witnessing Liu Bei's wrath at Yi Ling, Ma Chao realizes what horrors a clouded sense of justice can bring, and from thereon swears a new oath to fight for true justice. After finally besting Cao Cao at Wu Zhang, Ma Chao has his chance where he can finally finish off his nemesis; however, he surprises Cao Cao when he comments that killing Cao Cao wouldn't be the type of justice he's after now. Justice implies giving fair chance to everyone, and punishing people through death would never solve anything, instead only leading to yet another cycle of hatred. And so Ma Chao leaves his foe in a broken and pitiful state. Ending: Rather than maintaining a life in the new capital, Ma Chao along with Ma Dai returns back to Liang where he is welcomed by his people as a savior. Waiting for him are his one time allies who abandoned him at Tong Gate. Rather than feel hatred towards them, Ma Chao forgives them; he then declares that he will govern the land of Liang not with a sword of justice, but with a fair heart of justice. |

....I don't have anything to add just yet except wow. That is exactly how I hope Ma Chao's story would develop. that is absolutely beautiful; and just the kind of narrative he needs. |

EDIT: Doh! Double post, sorry. Its a bit of a long one here, but with all the Yue Ying talk, I felt inspired. Yue Ying Stages: Cheng Du, Jing Province, Mt Ding Jun, Han Zhong, Jie Ting, Wu Zhang Plains Summary: The story begins with the marriage between Yue Ying and Zhuge Liang; as the two stare at each other during the ceremony, she thinks back to when she first met Zhuge Liang; he had remarked that he needed her talent and ability to aid him in pacifying the land. She then tells him that it isn't just talent and intellect that will pacify the land, but also love. Even so, they conclude their vows by swearing eternal love to each other. After the success at Cheng Du, she notices the love Liu Bei shares with Sun Shang Xiang, and wonders if Zhuge Liang values her in the same way. The story continues with her lending her aid to her husband, and sharing valuable advice with her fellow officers such as Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, Wei Yan, and even Liu Bei (who begins to sense her own need for advice), each commenting on how they respect her motherly nature and her unwavering devotion to her husband and his cause. Just before the campaign at Jie Ting, she tells her husband that she feels uneasy about the upcoming battle. Zhuge Liang dismisses it, and then immediately breaks out into such a strong cough that he kneels over. She rushes to him and tells him that he must take leave for the battle, but he again dismisses her concern and orders her not to mention his illness to anyone; he cannot risk anyone disbelieving in him. Right before they begin the Wu Zhang campaign, she delivers her report to Liang, who is sitting in his chair with his head down. She asks if he is feeling well, but he replies that it doesn't matter how he feels; he has a task he must accomplish, even if it means the end of him. At this point, Yue Ying finally breaks down: "Do you ever think of anything, anyone else?" She tells him of her worries for him, of their struggle to finally come this far, and despite the heartache, all she wants is to spend her life in peace with the man she loves. He stares silently toward the ground, unable to talk. She then looks toward him, teary eyed, and then says that for now, she will fight for what he wants, and then exits his tent. After the battle, she struggles through a crowd of soldiers, trying to find her husband in the camp. Zhao Yun suddenly approaches her and tells her that she must come with him immediately. He takes her into a tent where Zhuge Liang is lying in a bed with Liu Bei at his side. Liu Bei then tells Yue Ying that Zhuge Liang only wishes to speak with her. "My wife..." Zhuge Liang calls. He then begins to tell her how sorry he is, and that how all along, he just wanted to love her the way he should have. He begins to grasp his chest and cry out in pain; she then holds him in her arms; "I have been so unfair to you...if it wasn't for the chaos I would have....no. There is no hiding it...all I want now...all I ever wanted was to bring peace to this land for you, so that then we could live undisturbed, happily together." She replies, "Even with the chaos, I was happiest whenever I was near you. I love you Zhuge Liang..." With that, the Sleeping Dragon passes away in the arms of his tearful wife. Ending: She stands in a peach garden near her home, staring optimistically into the sky. She is then approached by Liu Bei and Zhao Yun. They have come to pay their respects to the late Prime Minister, and to offer their aid to Yue Ying. "Don't you have a land to govern, my lord?" she says in a teasing manner. She then replies that the only assurance she needs is to see Liu Bei governing the land with love. Though the dragon may have risen to heaven, she also feels him with her, constantly keeping her warm with his light. She then resumes staring back into the sky, and a faint image of a dragon flying through the clouds is seen, with the words "I will always love you" echoing in the distance.... |

Astounding...That is truly epic. The perfect Musou for Yue Ying, hopefully her narrative is similar to that,in plot and drama scale. The only problem with that,is minor, but I don't think at the end the echo should happen,no matter how much effect it adds to the ending. |

...Man, you sure you dont work with Koei? Because that's a story worth being shown in a DW, the best parts were the endings, specially the Yue Ying one, truly epic and full of drama. Make one for Zhang He....NAO

Blah! Thanks for the comments, I really appreciate them! I haven't been on in a bit though, and I may be on sparcely due to Warhammer Online's OB opening this weekend, followed by the game release later this month. However, should DW6S come to the 360, I will be back posting in a heart beat. The Taishi Ci story still just doesn't feel right to me....I keep teetering on rehashed ideas.....KOEI must have something nice for him indeed.... By tomorrow, I'll post a Ling Tong and maybe a Zhang He story for you guys though. In the meantime, try your hand at it! Be as creative as ya want! Heck, include Yaoi if thats your thing.... On second thought, please scrap the man love.....too disturbing.... |
