As we know , this is the final stage for Lu Bu's life. anyway in DW4 and DW6 , whenever you defeat Diao Chan , Lu Bu is become more powerful . and he is angry about the Death of Diao Chan. However , what I don't like in 5 is that even you kill Diao Chan , Lu bu didn't power himself up. which make total ruin of the stage. But In DW6 , the music is quite the best and more things to do , Yuan Shu show up like 5~10 minutes later after the begin of the stage while DW4 and 5 didn't come out even after you flood the castle. So...what about you? in my personal opinion I wilil say 6's Xia Pi > 4's Xia Pi > 5's Xia Pi
	When Orochi Created the wrong Time Paradox.... Zomg!!!! ISN'T THAT OROCHI?!?! O_o

Posts: 874 Group: Members Member #12,760 Joined: January 20, 2008 Gender Male	I like all of them very much, with DW6 being my least favorite of the 3. When your favorite character is Zhang Liao like he is mine, you have to appreciate it even more since he's fun to play as in the battle. DW4's was amazing. I love that map and I loved that side mission where Lu Bu sends his daughter off to Yuan Shu as a trade for reinforcements. I liked that, and that you could grab Red Hare on that little patch of land. Not to mention that Xiahou Dun's cutscene where he loses his eye is pretty cool. I prefer playing as Wei here, but playing as Lu Bu's Forces is fun as well. DW5 - I really like this map, and the battle itself is cool. When you play as Lu Bu's Forces, it's almost epic because you have to defeat Cao Cao & Liu Bei, stop the castle from flooding, and keep the path open for reinforcements from Yuan Shu. I love playing as Zhang Liao here. Again, both sides are fun to play as but I'm going with Lu Bu's Forces as my favorite for this game. DW6 - My least favorite of the 3, but I still enjoy it. The music is amazing. When you play as Wei, the battle seems to go by too quickly. You basically win in under 10 minutes. Even still, I like using Xiahou Yuan & Dun here. Lu Bu's side is really fun to play and I love how you play as the invaders, and not the defenders like past games. I really liked that angle, and I hope it comes back in the future. Sun Jian's is alright, nothing amazing here. ----------------------- I think Xia Pi should have 2 different battles like DW6 has, but expanded upon. Attack On Xia Pi Lu Bu's Forces - Same as what it is in DW6. Liu Bei's Forces - You face an attacking Lu Bu. Battle Of Xia Pi Lu Bu's Forces - It'd be the defense of the castle like we see in DW4-5. Wei Forces - It'd be the same attack battle as in all 3 past games. That's how I think it should be. It can also be used in Musou Mode in a different way, so Xia Pi doesn't get played out. Let's say Zhang Fei has "Attack On Xia Pi" in his Musou Mode. Therefore, you no longer need the regular battle, because Lu Bu never took the castle from you. Guan Yu could have "The Battle Of Xia Pi" and it could say in his story that Xia Pi had already fallen and now he teams with Cao Cao to get it back. It can work for Lu Bu as well. He can have both battles in his Musou Mode. First, it's the Attack where he takes the castle. Then, it's the Defense where he fights to keep it. If that happened I'd be a happy person.

So I'm just voting that I like it in DW5, as I do the most. Yes, DW5, it feels bigger. In 4 you had a repeat map, also I found Guan Yu finding Red Hare for the first time quite cool. In 5 the battle was much more full of events and different cutscenes depending on the character your using, so it was great. Guo Jia seems to do a lot more in this version as well. Plus the scene where Zhang Liao surrenders willingly and Lu Bu gets enraged, is well, just plain awesome and really promoted Zhang Liao to a higher quality. It doesn't make him seem weak like surrendering would do - thanks to Lu Bu's dialogue. In 6 the music was my highlight. I play the stage even today to just listen to it. And what a fantastic way to play a song, an actual piano. Though the battle is fairly lifeless and feels motionless to complete. Xiahou Dun took charge here, I found that perculiar at first since I was expecting Cao Cao to, or at least arrive. Once again though, I'm no history buff as its what I'm use to seeing. Lu Bu's forces versus Liu Bei's is the better version. The three brothers are highly regarded and tougher to challenge here. Whereas Sun Jian's version is nothing special and just fictional.

Posts: 3,663 Group: Members Member #4,250 Joined: November 19, 2006	I like the Xia Pi stages. I find the various cutscenes they have for these stages to be pretty entertaining to watch like Xiahou Yuan vs. Diao Chan and great Imbeciles of Warriors Orochi 2.
