Best deadlock attack

Posts: 1,484 Group: Members Member #16,134 Joined: June 14, 2008 Gender Male	Well i dont know if this thread has been made but i've seen one for worst musou, best generic moveset and best weapon, so i decided to ask: What's your favorite deadlock attack in SW2; I dont own XL, so if you could explain about the new characters deadlocks i would appreciate it. Aaaanyways, my vote goes to Kanetsugu, simply because although his charge attack dont impress me that much[I blame Zuo Ci for that], his deadlock is absolutely beautiful to see...if you dont get interupted... :wacko:

Dragon of Chaos Posts: 325 Group: Members Member #9,283 Joined: August 19, 2007	The best deadlock attack was Kotaro Fuma, the way he get the enemy up into the air and then slamming them down was really good, so for me I think his is one of the best deadlock attack then other characters in SW2 ...... B) 2nd probably be Honda, the best part was when he grabs the enemy with his horns (helmet), then lifting them up and throwing them away......... B)

I'll get mine edited later. Okuni's did suck. Okuni's attack is decent, I think. She does three strong attacks with that umbrella of hers. Shingen's much worse. First he stuns the opponent, swings his right arm and then hits the him. If you're surrounded by enemy soldiers, his punch usually misses the opponent and even if it hits, it's not that strong attack >_>. Deadlocks are common in SW2 but if you're playing on Hard or above it's hard to win them with 100%. Anyway, I really like Sakon and Kotaro's deadlocks. Sakon just looks plain cool when he turns around after his final slash. Same goes to Kotaro. I like how he finishes his opponent with "Death Fall" (he grabs opponent from behind, jumps up and both come down with head first) :P.

Actively Retired Posts: 4,128 Group: Members Member #7,393 Joined: May 17, 2007 Gender Male	I don't think I've ever won a deadlock & seen a deadlock attack I always played SW2 (& XL) on Hard with fresh characters, then Chaos/Expert as they leveled up ... so I always just break the deadlock and nothing else

Posts: 1,484 Group: Members Member #16,134 Joined: June 14, 2008 Gender Male	Well i started to play on Easy, dont hate me im just farming skills and that gave me a big oppurtunity to get deadlocks attacks, and then i stumbled upon this character with a simple yet awesome to look deadlock. The character is Noh, when i saw it a first i was all "oh kick, kick, big deal" and then she turns and does this thingie(dunno how to explain :lol: ) and bam, HUGE freakin claw right into the stomach. Just beautiful. Also, Shingen

I'd even gotten them on chaos in SW1. Now I'm gonna have to start wailling away on buttons to see one.

I go for Takeda Shingen, Tadakatsu Honda, and Kojiro Sasaki. The uppercut from Shingen is just hilarious, Tadakatsu basically turns you into a baseball, and Kojiro......well let's just say that it looks like it really, really hurts pretty badly.

And i can't win on these difficulties 100% (my sister broke my turbo controller. However, i like kotaro's and hanzo's of the ones i saw before XL. I know it wasn't my favorite, but... i don't remember others. Can anyone make a list of most/ some of the attacks or link to a video of it? Thanks! :lol:

Musashi and Kojiro user Posts: 60 Group: Members Member #20,334 Joined: January 9, 2009 Gender Male	what i do usually is in sw2 empires put it on novice and go on free mode and just put me vs one other person and me as defending force then choose as the oppenent anyone except generic officers cause they never seem to do musous then go and take about two bases so you can fill your musou then go straight to the enemy and attack him/her a few times till they have about one hit left then just block their attacks till you see them charging then just try to musou the same exac time and you can easily to deadlocks lol but unfortunatley theres no sw2 xl new chars but everyone else you can do and my faves are any generic that uses a spear,yukimuras,ieyasus,and mitsuhide and kojiro as there the same but kojiros looks cooler lol i also like kojiros in sw2 xl looks freaking awesome
