It's Chi Bi! The worst lag stage in all of Warriors Orochi. The stage was too long and boring. It lagged of course, and you went from one side to the other to the next to the other, etc. It felt too pressured...did I mention the lag?

Haha, I'm glad there's 0% lag in the PS2 English version, then.

This level didn't stick out much for me except the fact the flames and traversing the boats is always annoying. Plus it starts with them taking a huge advantage (supposedly.) The generics aren't exactly intimidating here though...

What? Chi Bi is NOT long in WO, unless you're paranoid about Ieyasu dying. The time needed for high level character charging all the way into enemy lines to defeat Orochi and Da Ji is NOT long, unless you're going for hard and chaos.

Oh, and to defeat Lu Bu as a part of unlocking him.

Again Chi Bi is a long stage and boring. I don't really play this stage often. I think Chi Bi should be something more different. I never liked Chi Bi in WO. I need to see Chi Bi on WO2.

Well, Sakon's PI was a pain to get (Not difficult, but it's tedious.), even on Easy. Oh, and let's not even begin on Lu Bu's...

In WO2 what bugs me about this stage is the way you start and move forward, just for Da Ji's cutscene to commence... Its a bit irritating, especially when followed by a fire trap scene moments after...

They should've put this scene to happen as soon as you press start and not have to be expecting it so soon after the stage begins.

Chi Bi = Slowdown Capital of WO

I finally played it recently on WO2, and it lagged everywhere ... on the boats, at the altar, it didn't matter where. The fire attack made it interesting for sure, but since I wasn't trying to solo with anyone, switching occasionally helped keep everyone fresh ^_^

Overall, my least enjoyable final battles of the 5 stories

PSP WO2 Chi Bi has no lags. PSP WO2 never lags, except the enemy is too much and you do crazy crowd clearer moves

The only bit of lag I encountered in PS2 WO2 Chi Bi was around the altar while the south fleet was on fire. Even then, the lag isn't that bad.

Ya, it was pretty lagging for me when I played it on WO2. But on MOZ it is lag free

One of my least favorite stages in WO2. The whole string of events just seemed sloppy. The "Hit everything with fire!" theme was pretty dull. The reincarnation of enemies was cool initially, but became irritating when you head to race around in a ring for a few minutes before getting the cue to advance. Lu Bu's forces tend to waste their time with peons rather than advance, though since Sun Jian does the same I suppose it's for the best that they stick together. Motochika's presence here was kind of disappointing. He had a few plain lines and did nothing much for the rest of the battle.
The lag was annoying too, but eventually one becomes accustomed to it, so no big deal now. Honestly, I think the main reason why I loathe this stage is because it doesn't feel like an epic final battle. The sieges of Koshi Castle from WO1 were really similar, but still mentioned to capture a sense of epic confrontation, as did Wei's final battle in WO2. Samurai and Shu had decent enough final battles, moreso the former than the latter, but Wu's just didn't feel like a serious showdown to me for whatever reason.

I actually love the stage (talking about the Dream mode version), it's fun to play as the Mystics and have Orochi and Da Ji on your side to try and defeat the major powers against you. I agree with what LDZ said about the cutscene happens right after to "start" the battle. Wouldn't turning the Events off help with this? I don't normally like to view the cutscenes in-game anyway.

Wasnt this a gaiden only battle in the first game... i tended not to concern myself too much with plotlines and events on them with the first game. For what it was worth i enjoyed it - there was plenty to kill and some interesting battles against the likes of Masamune Date and Lu Bu long before you reached Da Ji and Orochi.

I felt like for Orochi 2, this map was a bit of a trek on chaos without a lvled party and possibly thinking of compositions to fit the map!

Comps i used for this map:
Oda/ Nene/ Shibata or Yoshitsune/Keiji/ Sun Wukong
