Okay, so I've only played Kessen III, so I can't say much about the others... but as far as Kessen III goes, I absolutely LOVE the soundtrack. I have it on my iPod and I sometimes I listen to it if I have trouble falling asleep. I don't know the names of any of the songs, as the entire soundtrack I downloaded isn't translated, with all the titles represented with Japanese hiragana/kanji characters. But one of my favorites is the song that is supposed to be "Mitsuhide's Theme" (I think, it's number 26 on the list). And the one song that always plays during battles against the Takeda clan is pretty awesome, always got me pumped. All in all, all the songs are beautiful in their own way. I liked how certain characters had their own themes, and that there were different pieces to set the mood. Kessen III probably has one of my favorite game soundtracks of all time, actually. I'm just glad Kessen III didn't have some cheesy Asian rock/techno, that's for sure.

The Akechi-Ashikaga battle theme is awesome. Strong, and has that slightly pompousness to it that characterizes some of their guys. |

Playing: Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, Nobunaga's Ambition: Iron Triangle, Bladestorm, Gundam: G Generation Wars, iDOLM@STER: Wondering Star, Super Robot Wars A: Portable, Touhou 12.3: Hisoutensoku "The ability to speak does not make one intelligent." - Simple, yet wise words of a Jedi Master And then suddenly, lolis. | |

Kessen III in particular had a lovely soundtrack to it. I felt it suited the era and style of game play extremely well, no complaints in that department at all. Unlike playing the likes of DW5, while the soundtrack is great I don't feel it represents the era very well, granted, it represents the action game play in its place though. |

Very true. And with DW 's music, I usually get sick of the song around the 3rd time I've listened to it. But with Kessen III's soundtrack, I still continue to listen again and again and I still enjoy it. Something rather exciting I noticed, apparently Ieyasu's theme in Kessen III is the same score from the original Kessen! About 1 minute into this video you can hear it! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f1JNL2QUReA |

How'd you find the soundtrack? Can't find it anywhere. Love the music too. Have Kessen 1 soundtrack, but not 3's. |

I play Kessen 1, and I especially liked the general song for most battles (Track 5). I don't know about the other two games, though.

I always thought the Kessen II soundtrack was the best. I didn't like the others much. |
