First Lieutenant Posts: 127 Group: Members Member #9,650 Joined: September 13, 2007	I actually don't hate any of the voices in this, even Kenshin's VA tried harder and sounds alright for most of his stuff. I hate the fact that koei was to cheap to redo the old lines for the characters that have new VAs cause thats just silly, but yeah other then that i fine with all the english VAs this time around.

I also like it how you get quotes from more officers at a time when you get 1000 kills. I don't know if that was an error by Koei or was purposely put in there.

I'm not so sure. It could be him after Koei have told him to change his voice, I really haven't thought about it that much. But in my opinion his SW2 voice is much better, I get kind of sick with this voice at times. He's kept his personality alright though, I've noticed him still telling stories.

Here I am, as Masamune, rackin' up the KO count, and here I am, hoping Masamune will say something COOL, the BAM. Stupid Ieyasu runs in and says something instead. Shut up, you pudgy midget. I do NOT want your opinion on the matter! I need to get more KO counts, just to see who else butts in on my character's speaking roles.

It was a quote from Yan Ping Gate ''Come, Lu Bu.'' Just thought to point it out...

Yes, I agree, he sounds just like him, Yoshi has a little more umph to his voice, but deffinitly the same. Probably the same VA, of cource Jiang Wei sounds different in WO2 then in WO.

DW5 sounded too generic...I hope that if he comes back that he'll have the same voice (Unless they make him look older.) I actually like Jiant Wei's English voice better than his Japanese....His Japanese one has an...odd...voice.

I was displeased with the fact that KOEI recycled his old voice for his battle quotes with his DW6 voice for everything else because I dislike his DW6 voice. The did the same to Lu Meng which annoyed me because his WO2 voice made me cringed too much. This isn't the first time KOEI did this with the voices though, since it was first introduce back in DW5: Empires.

I believe it to be the better of the two. This sounds more natural from the voice actor and makes Sakon's sound forced. I believe you're mistaken, as they sound nothing alike to me. In fact, Fu Xi shares his voice with Katsuie Shibata. The name of this VA is David Lodge, and fans of Naruto should recognize him as Jiraiya, while fans of Bleach should recognize him as Kenpachi. For some odd reason, his IMDB and Wikipedia profiles do not list WO2 as one of the games he's performed in, which is odd, because Fu Xi sounds almost exactly like Jiraiya and Kenpachi, so it's clearly the same actor. For Katsuie he adds a slight accent to his voice, but I can tell it is Mr. Lodge.

Posts: 2,736 Group: Members Member #4,229 Joined: November 17, 2006	i did'nt mind Ieyasu's voice so much, but i was playing Edo today and his tone and dialogue is SO stilted and sounds as if he's reading cue cards?! i'm not very good at recognizing VA, but is this the same actor from WO and SW2...if so he was having a bad day or just could'nt be bothered to emote.

First Lieutenant Posts: 178 Group: Members Member #7,186 Joined: May 4, 2007	It's the same VA from the first WO, but different from his SW 2 voice. None of the SW 2 voices were hired for the Warriors Orochi series as far as I can tell, which is a blessing for Keiji, Nobunaga, and Yukimura.
