Wasn't he regarded as the "Zhuge Liang" of the Sengoku? Or am I missing something? I believe he occupied the position as the strategist of Hideyoshi that Mitsunari seems to. That alone may warrant him an inclusion. He appears in Basara.

I'll be perfectly content with just a handful of new characters provided that it allows Omega Force to actually finish their product this time around, rather than trying to shoe in a bunch of half-finished additions.

Yes, Kanbei Kuroda was a strategist of Hideyoshi but no, he's not the guy who appears in Basara. If I recall correctly, he was the guy who brought the engineers in the Battle of Odawarra. That or I've gone around the bend.

Hah. No worries, man. I've expressed my hatred of that game far more times than what is considered healthy. Given their past actions, being skeptical should come naturally at this point. I am still hoping for the best, though. No promises or anything, but I may do a live stream of this game when it comes out. I just need to wait to see what the combat engine is going be like before I bolt out and preorder the game and buy new video capture equipment.

Still, I'm not going to get myself too excited at this point, as there's still ample room for them to screw it up. Let's just hope for the best.
