Trinity of SRW Originals Posts: 1,894 Group: Members Member #1,164 Joined: March 20, 2006	I need help to unlock some Dream Stages. Unfortunately, it looks like it's taking too long to get someone to Lv 99 or max Proefficiency. Any tips/tricks to do it/stage recommendations?

Ujiyasu is not impressed Posts: 5,564 Group: Global Moderators Member #5,870 Joined: March 1, 2007 Gender Male	Best places to grind: Komaki-Nagakute or Itsukushima K-N have like 25+ officers so it would nab you a ton of EXP and 5-7 Proficiency.

Posts: 6,831 Group: Admins Member #3,636 Joined: October 5, 2006 Gender Male	From personal experience, I think its more efficient to generate proficiency through killing peons than officers in most cases/stages. I've noticed that the characters who I kill peons with end up getting the 3rd costumes sooner. What level is your Acclaim as well? You should increase that if you can.

And why would you say killing peons is faster? 500 peons = 1 prof. 5 Officers = 1 prof. And taking down 5 officers are waay faster than 500 peons. (Proficiency leveling is the same on all difficulties)

(Proficiency leveling is the same on all difficulties) I knew about that, but just feel when you use 3 characters and play so many stages, that when you purposely aren't aiming for proficiency, you don't think to keep the same character out and keep a tally...especially when trying to get their abilities. Besides, its easy to get 500+ kills in WO2, so thats why I've mentioned it in case some would be interested in listening to what I had to say.

But of course at K-N, I kill officers and clear mobs of peons when I played. But I don't know, stuff could have changed from JP-EN and I only own the JP one as of current. But it depends on you NJB if you want to level characters one by one or in a team of 3.

Since I still have many abilities to strengthen, I tend to do them at the moment and kill as many people and officers as possible. I personally believe thats the best way to do this kind of thing if you don't want any boredom with officer killing and repeating the same stage over and over again.

Can be boring sometimes..but I like it XD It could also be because that you still have other stuff to level while when I started grinding I pretty much left the proficiency gridnding. :lol:

(well, maybe some others aswell, but that is the big one) I'm currently trying to do this. I thought maybe I should say I did some working out, and if you were to share that 2,780 proficiency over the 91 characters (Minus Orochi X, I hope I counted them right) you would need to get EVERYONE to lvl 30 proficiency >_> I've made a start and I'm working on getting everyone to lvl 10 proficiency to get their alternate outfits, and then to make up the rest I was going to get some people to lvl 50 who I would actually want as a background, seeing as I have it on the random setting. Anyway you can get every single 91 characters to lvl 30 proficency or 55 people to lvl 50.. god, that is such a tall order.. still, you can't say WO2 doesn't have it's longevity, hehe..

I think its the same in this case. I know that the EXP you get on medium is the same as the harder two, so I assume its the same with easy. And assume that playing on easy will be no different or worse getting EXP than chaos. I'm pretty sure this is the case.

Itsukushima is a good stage with a lot of officers and get quick profic. I just go kill every officer in it without bothering to kill peons. If you have Sun Wukong, you can kill every officer (other than ambushes) in about 3 minutes, which'll get you around 5 pro. I was able to max Cao Cao, Sun Quan, Liu Bei, Ieyasu, Nobunaga, and Hideyoshi in like 3 hours.

I've already started my grinding, but I sort of want to do it systematicaly, because I want to get everyone 3rd costume. By doing Itsukushima grinding, how long until you unlock those other 2 dream mode stages? It took you 3 hours to unlock the 2 stages of the 6 rulers.

Watching and waiting... Posts: 2,237 Group: Members Member #1,706 Joined: April 26, 2006	When it comes to gring prof, peons IS NOT THE WAY TO GO. I dunno what game Joe is playing. Wu 4 can be done in two like minutes for mass prof. Wei 8 can be done in about 6 or 7 minutes(or less?) for 9 prof. Unless you've figured out how to score 1k kills every five minutes for a total of two prof....lol. Grinding off peons is suicide for your mind and time. The time to prof ratio doesn't pay off.
