So yeah, the Nu Gundam/v Gundam however you call it, Amuro's unit for Char's Counterattack and also his ultimate Mobile Suit. I really can't wait to play it after seeing it in action against Big Zam, looks really good. Feel free to discuss about it here B) |

I'm most curious about how it can set up the fin funnel barrier. I doubt it's activated by normal guard button... must be some kind of special move?

YES! i saw it with my own eyes the barrier can be igniated for a long amount of time and dosent consume sp or tthrust. plus it really does protect u from all around attacks. |

But then again, I wonder if you are limited to using S-strings or non-Fin Funnel attacks when the barrier is on effect.

why is the c4 so weak? (Videos on I see on youtube have them killed in one hit) when I follow up with a combo it's very weak too (expect when fighting against bosses) |

Pretty well in general, it's pretty fast and strong, but also? C6, the Fin Funnel Barrier, does a TON of damage if you're standing next to your target when it goes off. I've killed aces just with the damage it does as it deploys. |

Thuellai you're mentioning the C6 attack which many believe to be known as a glich in this game..... I consider it somewhat nerfed and not meant to do that..... it makes it seem like you are hitting the opponent multiple times with the C6 barrier going up.....thus increasing the damage by so much.... should be like a beam attack.....hit once....but may be they meant for it to be like if you got caught in it this beam is still running through your mobile suit so you absorb all that damage....  Nu Gundam is way defensively overpowerful.....if you then add attachments like Armor gain while using it's C6 it keeps regaining hp while not really getting much damage at all even on Hard Mode...... another great attachment to add is aura burst so when C6 is still up on power down situations you run into suits and also use aura burst to kill them raising your shot count high..... and the attachment to reduce damage from lasers.... With this and also adding on Ace Pilot skill Nu gundam is quite a fearsome beast then....... even more defensive in my opinion than Turn A gundam or any one else in this game..... the fin funnel barrier decreases HP by percentage,theoretically you can't even kill a zaku tank with it,even after "field cleared"(try it>.<),and the dash cancel&aura burst added the "real damage" which kills the MS i hope everyone would stop calling it a bug... nu gundam NEEDS fighting instinct,how many successful C6 have you ever done compared to the one that fails? hexa drive is a must,and so do sniper(C6 is not a good field clearer),boss drive is thrown in incase C6 isn't strong enough never put biocomputer in nu gundam>.< @crimsondramon:kono sekai no rider,anata ka? After only using the Nu Gundam, I can safely say its a reliable MS, but to an extent the only real reason this MS is superior to many others is the Fin Funnel Barrier both offensively and defensively... Now for what I think of its attacks: - C2 is a simple forward side slash, it'll do some damage and can clear a crowd, but nothing special... - C3 is pretty much identical to the Sazabi and can clear enemies in the front, nothing special... - C4 is good for clearing a mass amount of enemies but its lacking in actual power, the only time its any good is to clear a conquered field... - C5 is a launcher attack... nothing more, looks pretty cool - C6 is the one thing that makes this MS useful, when you deploy the shield with enemies close to you, the damage it inflicts is massive and it can easily ream an ace of a quarter to half of their health... and when its deployed, its an amazing defense... this Charge attack would be broken if it wasn't a C6...  - Dash Charge is the same as C4 practically but I think it has more power in it... not sure... - Ground SP Attack is personally better than the Sazabi's as it traps the enemy making it good for Crowds and Aces... - Air SP Attack is pretty standard... it won't clear a crowd as good as the Ground SP Attack but then again I don't use it much... - Combination SP Attack I have yet to use...  All in all, Nu Gundam is reliable and it has one special thing that makes it superb... Long Post eh... |

Im not too positive, but I believe the Nu Gundam C6 was fixed in the NA release Either that, or its just because my Nu is so weak atm ^^; |

Nah, I think it's still extremely deadly. I remember taking out Char on his last story stage, dealing like over half his health with just boosting at him after activating the attack. I really like the suit, I would use it more compared to his other suit if I were to return to the game when I finally have had enough of it for instance. I prefer it over Char's Sazabi anyway. yeah,i play nu the less out of the S ranked class1's,since its quite unstoppable in a negative way(quite boring since there's so little chance for you to die if you used the correct setups for the C6) |

its a really strong ms but also a really boring MS to play as its effectively a one trick wonder just spam c6 with the right skills and there we go all done which wouldn't bother me if it wasn't that the rest of it was so poor it makes Sazabi look like god.  so i avoid it and stick with the more fun ms that u can play as like SF or zaku tank

Anyone actually really dissapointed with this MS? I never use the C6, I just spam the C3 and the Dash Cancel with Zero Range Shot and Sniper. In my opinion it's just got nothing going for it at all. I rate it as the worst Class One MS, even below The O. |

I don't like this MS Dash Attacks, it has a Beam Saber that looks larger than your average sword, yet it goes all Gundam Fighter on things. Good job it's DC is useful, otherwise it would be lacking serious dash attack range. |

It's dash attacks don't connect very well in the air, I've found. My favorite looking attack and probably second best would be it's C4. It's C6 is extremely deadly as offensive, it also leaves a split-second for the enemy to think you've finished attacking, to lower his or her guard, then wam. Along with the huge racket of noise.
