And um, whats the point of online play, Xbox had it, PS2 too and im quite sure GC had it too. And you really think Koei will implement a decent online?

However... it bugs me that SW3 will be just for the Wii. I love Samurai Warriors. It's a great game. I'm quite interested in DW6 (empires), too. Buuuuut.. the incredible amounts of fanboying here causes this biiiiiig huuuge point to never be brought up: SAMURAI WARRIORS 3 IS NOT A $300+ GAME I don't dislike the Wii. I just don't care about it. A system where only one game interests me isn't going to really win me over. I think SW has more replay value than most games. Better graphics than alot of them. And I mean that. There aren't unforgivable glitches as often as on those oh-so-precious insert-technical-term-meaning-awesome-textures-here games. Not NEARLY as often. And the hack n' slash style gameplay is actually entertaining. But really, I wouldn't want any other games. What good's a console with just a couple games that I'd want, if even that at the moment? I'm not really into party games or Mario or Zelda. I'm not obsessed with 'old-school' like way too many gamers are. So, if there's no port, I'll unfortunately miss out on this. Because, look, I don't favor other systems. If the Wii had all the things I was looking for, I'd be all over it. But.. alot of the time, Nintendo just gets games I wouldn't play. Or ones I would but are glitchmania and/or get boring. So, really, high horse time is over. The main point of all of this is: Why own a whole new system just for one game they COULD'VE made for everything? SW wasn't Nintendo-only before, why make it that way now and alienate people who don't want to spend the extra money just for that game? There's no amount of high-roading, arrogance, or passive aggressiveness that can possibly rationalize that. This shouldn't be about graphics, brand loyalty, amount of units sold (Which is obviously going to favor the family-friendly Wii, which is no problem), or even the coolness of owning one. It should be about feeling ripped off. Worse than any Xtreme Legends game could ever do.

Amen to that brother. While I'm defending the Wii from some of the absurd attacks in this thread I'm not entirely happy about the prospect of this been Wii exclusive either. I love the unique value the Wii offers, as I also love the different range of games it holds. If everyone was made of money I'd say "Buy a Wii, and one of 360 or PS3". I could list a bunch of great Wii games, ones that I love, but everyone�s tastes in games are different, as our gaming budgets. For me, that biggest problem is why would KOEI turn to a system that means nothing to the loyal KOEI fanbase? I see that as a slap in the face to the thousands of loyal KOEI fans who coughed up to purchase 360/PS3. Hoping the big name KOEI games would continue to arrive on those next generation systems. That, is the biggest problem here, although I get the feeling some are dealing with that by criticizing the Wii instead as a way of dealing with it. KOEI made a radical decision, let's just watch this space and hope for multi-platform, or at least something like DW6: Special. You guys can bash Wii if you want, but if you make up false reasons be prepared to have them torn apart by Wii fanboys and others. :ph43r:

I welcome SW3's debut into the Wii, but it is a bit inconsiderate for Koei to isolate a good number of their previous fanbase.
