Well, based on personal experience, Wii games do take longer to load. This isn't a 'issue,' but as I said before, it's a sort of set-back in comparison to the other consoles this generation.

The graphics of that game you posted were exceptional, but I'm wondering if the Wii would struggle by using all it's power rendering and end up with side effects that effect that gameplay.

I wasn't arguing about the specifics of the Wii, by the way. I was referring to the fact that, overall as a console, it is considered as more of a 'toy.' Casual gaming target market, hardware and waggle controls (where the developers accidentally making the gameplay tedius). Which is why it is hated by Sony fans, MS fans and some Nintendo fans as well (E3 2008 being the biggest insult to the Nintendo core gamers ever).

I'm not concerned about SW3 being on the Wii, I'm concerned about my arms. I welcome SW3's debut into the Wii, but it is a bit inconsiderate for Koei to isolate a good number of their previous fanbase.

You're right about one thing: E3 2008 has been something unforgivable, probably the biggest disappointment Nintendo ever gave to me.
While it's true that Nintendo is now more directed to the casual crowd, they still didn't forget their longtime fans: Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Metroid Prime 3 just to say some names. Also the Mario and Zelda teams are working on new games, an excellent sign.

Still, some "casual games" are still fun: Mario Kart Wii for example, extremely easy to pick up and play and while the advanced techniques were taken out from the game (I was once a pro player of Mario Kart DS) the game is still fun.

Let's face it: the only bad thing about SW3 is that maybe it would be directed to the casual crowd, but considering the series and the large fan it has, I doubt it.

Also about loading times... how many minutes Devil May Cry 4 need before running on a PS3?

But, the koei's games are not known for being beautiful in term of graphism :/
I believe the Wii system is much more easy to program than the PS2/3 (but I'm not sure for the 360).
So, maybe it won't be that bad... But I think it won't be like the first pictures either... It could be CG renders.

God, graphics should have NO impact on this discussion. Why? THEY DONT MATTER, GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS.

And once again, let me post the graphics the Wii is capable of, just to shut the children up.

WATCH THIS AND BE AMAZED AND/OR AWED

That's right, this game has online AND voice chat. So quit complaining about the Wii being "Last-Gen" and accept the superiority of the system's all-around capability.

Ha, dude. Bad example. The only thing looking nice is the flexible gun. The environment is undetailed as hell.

Atleast use a good example of great graphics, like this one:

Now those graphics, for a Warrior game would rawk my cawk

For me, that biggest problem is why would KOEI turn to a system that means nothing to the loyal KOEI fanbase? I see that as a slap in the face to the thousands of loyal KOEI fans who coughed up to purchase 360/PS3. Hoping the big name KOEI games would continue to arrive on those next generation systems.

That, is the biggest problem here, although I get the feeling some are dealing with that by criticizing the Wii instead as a way of dealing with it. KOEI made a radical decision, let's just watch this space and hope for multi-platform, or at least something like DW6: Special.

Yay, Fayt speaks sense ^_^
This is exactly want ive been saying.
And then to continue, you cant just expect someone who did buy a PS3/360 for that reason, just go off and buy a Wii because this one game is going to it, and were expecting it to be on the system they already have.

Well since I don't own a Wii, I can honestly say I will NOT be buying this game. How unfortunate.

And also remember that it isn't confirmed as a Wii exclusive.
Which is good.
Sure, it could be good on the Wii, but the 360/PS3 have MUCH greater potential.
The Wii graphics are only somewhat better than the PS2's. It could look really good if Koei tried, but, you know, Koei hasn't even much cared about graphics until DW6. And, when they did that, the graphics were the only good thing about it, with nearly no replay value or features otherwise.

It's no use for Koei, I think :/ Graphism will probably never look good! They are toooo lazy in this department.

DW6's characters are really well done, but the other elements are simply horrid... At least, I hope the characters will be well modelized!

...I really don't see why you say that. The graphics for the environments were superb in DW6.

------------

There's no reason to hate the Wii. I just hate that the Wii gets the game first. I just can't wait until it gets released on the PS2/360.

Because,it may seems beautiful... from afar, but when you're approaching too much, it's simply disappear, and when you play with someone else, you can't see anything, and the ennemies are invisible... DW5 did a better job when it comes to the details like that.

wii might easier to program then a ps3 but in no way shape or form is it easier then ps2 i refuse to believe that.

think about it
press right

line up with the screen at this point move wiimote left 10+ or fuzzy right 3+ then 10+ left. set to =right

ps3 has the processors that are hard to work with. ps2 almost has emulators.

There's a huge paradox here though.

If its on the Wii, it will have unique controls and other stuff, but if its brought to the 360/PS3, it will have to remove those unique controls in favor of PS3/360-only stuff.

So yeah, i'm starting to question this move as well. Even though I definitely will be getting it for the Wii.

I don't really care. I don't hope anybody seriously thinks this will only be released on Wii. What is more important is the gameplay. I hope to god renbu is either removed or expanded. Cause only one charge move and a musou that is just a fast version of the square chain is just way too little moves for a game like this. I mean, we all know the story and characters by now. The greatest thing that this series has going for it is the amount of cool moves.

It'd be perfectly fine if the game premieres on the Wii as long as there are plans in place to put it out on other consoles a month or two later.

I can't see myself buying an a Wii just to play this game. :(

I'm not a big wii fan (double negative if i ever heard one), it's possibly the worst console on the market I'd say. It's not a console you could sit and play for a while like the PS3/360's of today due to the fact its too gimmicky.

And, I don't think SW3 would be good on the Wii because SW:Katana was crap, it had awful graphics and wasn't sensitive enough with resulted in some horrible dead arms. Plus if it's anything like Katana, new characters won't matter because you won't see them.

I hate Nintendo, they can't do anything right, and now they seem to have "stolen" SW

Oh please, i dont think we need this topic to be revived.

While you can safely say you hate Nintendo, i think its not wise to say they cant do anything right.

And why you cant play it like a 360 or a PS3? In the rare instances i use my Wii, i spend the same time playing it as i would with my 360.

I dont mind the Wii im just cautious about Koei bringing SW3 to it.
If Koei just do what they do best and deliver a solid game then good.
But if they just throw in motion controls 'just for the hell of it' then the forecast is not strong.
