One of the great advantages of the new Zetaboards service is the addition of a reliable, easy to manage name change system. Which also change your Username on old posts, unlike the former InvisionFree service. As a result, we are pleased to announce that name changes are back, and we expect them to remain that way for quite some time. Providing you meet this following conditions your name change will be approved as soon as possible by one of the admin staff. - It must contain 20 characters or less - It must not contain any profanity or inappropriate wording. - Your last name change must have been at least 4 months ago. To request a name change do the following: - Click on "Preferences" (next to your inbox) - Click on "Change Username". (on the left in board controls) - Enter your new Username request and select "Change Username" Finally, new Username confusion is also minimized with one of Zeta's great new features. To see a history of name changes for any member simply go do: - Click on a members profile. - Highlight "Profile Options" then select "Name History". Final Notes: - 4 members to date had already requested a name change, and they have been approved already (if you want your old name back due to the 4 month rule please PM an admin about it) - The 4 month rule applies as of now, any name changes performed on the old service will not prevent a new request now. - Name Change history only applies to names requested on the Zetaboards service. - Ordinarily you cannot request the username that another member holds however exceptions may be granted if the user has been inactive for a large period of time and holds little or no posts.
