Most things don't really bother me. it is always awkward in movies when there is a sexual scene and your parents are there watching with you. No matter how old you are, they like to think you're innocent and don't know what's happening.
Happens to me once in awhile when watching movies like that. It's even awkward watching the movies by yourself and someone walks in on you while watching the sex scenes privately. I actually get embarrass by it because they don't see me as that kind of person to be watching such scene involving sex and nude thinking it's gross when I actually enjoy watching them.

As it was mentioned before, any unneeded sexual/nudity and any rape scene isn't something that'd make me smile. I can understand it in movies like 007 and the like, but when it's unpredictable it can be a little annoying to me.

Another thing is when they go disrespecting a certain group of people whether saying it outload intentionally or giving out hints with names and the like, my respect for any human being working in the said movie goes down dramatically.

As Jsun said, I also look down greatly to suicide attempts and dislike it at the movie.

But what REALLY pisses the hell out of me, is when someone keeps asking questions in the movie. It's ok to ask "Did I miss a lot?" If you went to grab some nachos but asking anything that has something to do with the story or quotes IN the movie gets me angry really quickly and ruins it all for me. I also hate it when babies go crying and some people talk on the phone, didn't happen for me but it would get me angry if it happened.

Another last thing, sometimes I watch movies with my dad who is a director so he pretty much knows how all of the effects, fake scenes, and stuff happen. Too bad he can't wait till the movie ends to show it off at times  Never really pick a seat next to him at the cinema

For me, it depends on the woman and her importance/role. If she's killed off just for the 'shock' factor (you know, that the movie DOES go there), then I'm more annoyed than anything. Besides that, women are just as easily proned to death as men are... I guess, being a woman, I'm desensitized to my fellow women dying on the big screen. It IS nice, though, to know that there are still some gentlemen out there.

Speaking of movie deaths, I'm really starting to hate the Final Destination series entirely. In fact, I'm really starting to dislike these slasher/horror films of this era. None of the deaths are plausible, none of the characters are likeable, and each death is just 'how many more ways can we gross people out?' They're just not that thrilling anymore...

What's sad is that I heard it did well in the box office for its first week (The Final Destination). For the love of good movies, STOP PROMOTING BAD ONES.

when ive seen something happen that's FAR too similar in another recent movie.

or when adaptations and remakes aren't true to the originals.

I admit that I cringe when a woman gets attacked within a horror movie, provided that she isn't incessantly annoying, obnoxious or the like (though there is still a cringe factor ;P). Especially in films like Saw, Hostel and so on.

It's probably just a form of chivalry on my part; by automatically allocating the imaginary pedestal to women within a horror film and being more desensitised to the deaths of the men (though there is a heck load of sympathy if I can empathise with the character). In the end it's probably slightly offensive to women but I can't help it.

Well, it doesn't help that I usually end up having 80% of the female characters in the entertainment media as it is. I find that, despite being a woman myself, I'm very bias and unforgiving to them. This go for movies, video games, television shows, even books.

Heck, I felt little to no sympathy towards Elizabeth Swan in PotC: AWE, even after she lost her father, Norrington, and then Will. I figured 'this is karma, for betraying Jack, b****!' (But then again, by the time I got to the third Pirates movie, I just hated everyone. Yes, even Jack Sparrow. God, I hated that movie so much.)

Another thing I can't stand in movies nowadays- the need for TRILOGIES. Seriously, way to milk the cow dry. Though from what I hear, trilogies are soon to be replaced by an even heavier number, as Spider-man and Pirates are set for more movies.

Ugh. When will the madness end? (All griping aside, I'm more looking forward to Spider-man 4 than Pirates 4... probably because of Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell)

I hate the extremely long and boring talks in movies!
When a conversation goes on for like 10 minutes.
Most of the time what they talk about you already know anyways so they are pretty pointless in my eyes..

Happy and perfect endings usually piss me off (though it depends)

As for women dying, its diferent for each one, like if its some B**chy girl, or annoying, or just mean, and she gets killed, i laugh, but if its a sweet girl, or a character i like, i just get upset.

The two worst women deaths for me to watch would have to be Julliet from lost and Sylar's mom in Heroes, those were just un-bearable

Umm thee's not alot of things that can piss me off while watching a movie. I hate it when a movie is trying to be funny but it's not at all, that's probably the most annoying thing.

Well I hate when a dog dies. Lol, I have more sympathy for dogs than I do people in movies. I guess its because dogs are innocent. Like in the movie Captivity where the girl had to shoot her own dog to live, I felt so bad for the dog having to die and for her having to make that decision.

I also hate depressing endings. What's the point of me sitting through this movie for a hour and a half if everybody dies or if there isn't some kind of light at the end of the tunnel? Sometimes it's done in a good way (Cloverfield) but there are times where its just ridiculous (Funny Games). I'm a fan of happy endings. I like it when a character I've bonded with throughout the movie gets happiness at the end. Whether he ends up getting the girl or she ends up surviving the massacre, I like it.

Not only that, but its even worse when you have a parent that gets offended by anything sexually related. I went to see Get Smart with my parents last year, and my mom walks out of the movie because of the part where Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway sneak into the one house and she tares off some of her dress to be more flexable when moving through the lazer beams, and Carell looks at her butt when she bends right in front of him.

I dont plan on seeing anymore movies with her >_> unless its G rated.
Wow that's pretty extreme. I don't think I have ever walked out on a movie before. Maybe once when the fire drill went off or the projector wasn't working. My mom wouldn't care about things like sex and stuff. I actually saw a WWII film with my grandparents and this one scene was just all naked sex for 5 minutes. So awkward after the movie. BTW, Does your mom know where babies come from and stuff?
I did, twice XD ONce I was quite young, and we all went to watch that Pokemon movie because my bro wanted to, I think we were on vacation somewhere in Florida, but where already living in Belgium, but I don't remember XD
We did start watching it, but not for long, after a while we all just left, it was pretty bad XD As far as I remember @_@~

And then when I was watching "Wanted", it was so horribly violent, I left when he was supposed to shoot the old woman...

Yeah, so I dislike unnecessary violence, or when they show unnecessary parts! It didn't really use to be like that, but now movies have become much more dramatic @_@~ Like in "Speed", when they're on top of the subway, and he holds the psychos head up to, well, kill him, you don't see any more than necessary D: It's violent enough as it is!!!! >_<'''

And I don't like when they revive random characters that were actually dead just to make the ending happier XD Also, when they just defy all sense...I mean, yes, I get sad when people die in movies, but they're dead D: I don't know XD

Also when there's violence against animals, I can't stand to watch that at all, it makes me cry every time X_X'

I also agree with quite a few things said previously XD Also when people eat popcorn really loudly in a cinema X_X' There are still other people there too, and then, when you can't understand it because they're sitting next to you D:

I also don't like the killing-off of characters, just to make a movie more dramatic. Even documentaries have become overly dramatic nowadays X_X'

EDIT: Also, when a movie is full of stereo-types >_<'

what i hate about many holywood movies: in a fight scene, the main charecter doesnt have a chance against the bad guy, gets beat up until hes nearly dead. Then suddenly he becomes superman and beats the crap out of the bad guy. Or when a guy gets beat up with a baseball bat or gets kicked in the face like 10 consecutive times, its like nothing happened to him. Hes jumping around playing spiderman when a real person would be strugling to get up. The unrealistic and too predictable fight scenes really destroy an action movie.

Another thing I don't like at movies, in regards to the theater going audience. Being told to shut up... WHEN THE PREVIEWS HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED YET. I understand being annoyed with people who chitchat throughout the whole movie, but it's getting to the point that some people just want complete silence the entire time. That's extreme. (And I don't even think we were talking that loud to begin with XD)

The silver lining to this event happening was an older man sitting two rows away from the guys that hushed my brother and me. "Oh you shut up! Movie hasn't even started yet, you (bad term I can't say on forums XD)".

I really, really get pissed off when the scene gets so cliched and predictable! It gets annoying when I watch those sort of movies because it's like... a repeated thing. Like how the hero always ends up being alive in the end and ending up with his lover. Makes me want to go "Just be gone and let the movie end like that!"

Ah, it goes both ways for me. Movies have pretty much become too black or white. Either the ending is too happy and possibly unrealistic, or the ending is too sad and makes me wonder why I bothered getting out of bed to see it. I hate both cliches, and I hate sad endings for the sake of just avoiding having a happy ending. When did it become mandatory for endings to end sad; has the quota for 'happily ever after' been filled?

I KNOW! this one time this guy in the row infront of us started yellling at us for talking during the previews  And he has a moustach just like Mario, so we named him "angry Mario man" :XD

But yeah, it just gets ridiculous, i like sad endings more, happy endings just piss me off.

I do watch lots of movies that end in a grey area, people die, not everything is resolved, open endings. That sort of such and such. I find that books do way more justice to endings (depending on the author of course) than movies.

In every horror movie when instead of doing the logical thing, the girl getting stalked does the complete opposite, usually either involving running UP the stairs or taking a shower, lol. In really cheap horror movies, this is seen way too much.

I know it's weird :3 But i really don't like it when they have three protagonists (like two boys, one girl) and the girl ends up with the main character. I think the romance kind of spoils the movie/trio. xD I know it's really strange, but it just bothers me. >< I guess because it's too predictable? Plus, I feel bad for the other guy. :(

-When dogs die (I AM Legend, Grindhouse: Planet Terror, Superhero Movie (well that one was intended on being a joke, but why did the dog have to get put into a wood-chipper)

-Unnecessarily sexual humor, like dry humping (Transformers 2)

-When the main character is trying to figure out how people are dying, and while he/she thinks it over, they die at the end (every Final Destination movie, The Happening)

-When the main character dies and everything is solved (The Mist)

-Vomiting. That is something I HATE in movies, unless they are vomiting over some curse or seeing someone die. This movie is included in EVERY SPOOF MOVIE with the title "Movie" in it.

-When the main character ends up in a mental ward (Halloween, Jennifer's Body)
