Do any of you know if there's a way to check your proficiency levels? I know I'm getting close since about 20-25 of my characters are level 50 proficiency and I have alot that are between 20-30.
Just on the camp screen, go to team info, then click on each character to see what they are at. If you mean your overall prof. level of all characters combined, then no there is nothing that will show or tell that.
Yea I know how t check each persons individual proficieny. It's stupid of Koei to make a dream mode stage that's so hard to get (which requires proficiency) and to not let people check there overall proficieny levels.

I don't mean to be 'that guy', but in the PSP version, it seemed shorter for me to unlock #27.

By the math, in order to reach an aggregate 2730 proficiency, 91 characters must have an average of 30 to reach that. I end up getting getting #27 around an average around the high teens. Some were at 50 like Cao Cao, Nobunaga, etc., but the majority were no more than 15. If I had to do a quick mental calculation, I would still be short now, although not by much.

It looks like to me that it was more the PSP's version in action in order not to make the requirement not so hard to get. I never completed during the PS2 version, because the PSP was coming out and I didn't want to get too burned out.

Hahaha, after months I finally got it. I thought there were still some characters to go,but it unlocked faster than I had thought. Now the only thing left is to play all stages on all difficulties, then I can finally put the game aside.

I was close. But my PS3 went nutty and I lost all of my memory. So now I'm working my way back up lol.

I have given up trying to get the final Dream stage...and if I have figured it out right, its Huang Gai, Xu Zhu, and Hanzo...no one at all special enough for me to care. Still, why do they, of all characters, get the hardest Dream to unlock? -.-

I guess I'll never play with Orochi X...oh wells. I have gone through Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 1 and 2 and have never played as either Musha Gundam...so....I'll live.

Racking up proficiency is hard and time consuming.

OMG, that's what happened to me 2-3 months ago. PS3 HDD was completely wiped and I lost all my save files, PSN games and demos.

On the plus side, I'd already unlocked Shin Orochi before that happened. Still ruined my chance of getting the platinum and 100% save file for that game though  Not to mention, a lot of my perfect save files are gone too, just to name a few: my Killzone 2 and Final Fantasy XIII saves :kurokan:

I have one more dream stage left before i get Orochi x.
The proficiency one is really hard, i think you need like 3500 or something
2,730 to be exact ;)
Which means i'll be stuck at Itsukushima for a while -_-

or are there any other stages to quickly raise proficiency? Si Shui gate looks good too.

Komaki-Nagakute (Wei) on Hard (Use Sun WuKong to speed around map only killing Generals. You can get about 4-5 proficiency at least per level run through.

Colour me jealous. It's been roughly forever, and I'm only just now getting past the halfway point. It bothers me that I keep maxing my favourite characters and then have to eternally bench them. Oichi was my first, and that was well over a year ago.
