Anyways hoping no character gets the axe, but i do see stages like Kuzegawa getting cut. Yeah they did actually focus more on Hideyoshi. So it'd make sense if they went like this: SW1:Nobunaga SW2:Hideyoshi SW3:Ieyasu Ieyasu will probably get the most officers in this game. But anyways this talk is for another topic, I wouldn't be surprised if Nene were to be cut

Wasn't he quite important? And IF Kunoichi comes back, i think Nene will getting revamped, not axed. Actually...does anyone knows about the characters popularity in Japan? Maybe that could give us a picture of who is getting the cut?

But in regards to Nene, I cant see her getting cut, and despite her annoying personality, I quite like her. She grew on me, she isnt my favorite, but I dont think any of the characters should get cut, whether I like them or not. I hope Nene could get revamped to more of a pirestess type of character, than a motherly rip of Kunoichi....who fans cant seem to let go of, unfortunatly. As for Gracia, I agree with her story being changed, she should stay as well, especially with the possibility of Tadaoki Hosokawa becoming playable at some point. Just get rid of the whole Mago thing....thats stupid -.- Toshiie...whoever suggested that one....somethings wrong with them, clearly. i think the only character I can see being cut, that kind of fits the whole "requirements" for the last 3 cut characters, is Okuni. But she is a welll liked character and I dont think she'll ever be cut.

Not everyone here have read about Sengoku Jidai period, you should keep that in mind. If I had played SW2XL without knowing anything about historical Maeda Toshiie, I would definitely consider him as unimportant Oda/Toyotomi officer. He's so screwed up in SW2XL that's it's not even fun .

But I dont think he should be removed, despite my not liking him. I would rather have no character removed, even the useless ones like Yoshimoto. I like a wider character selection, but as KOEI has been recently removing random characters left and right, its perhaps valid to hope no one gets cut....

Personally, I think Konuichi should get the make over and keep Nene the way she is. She was one of my favorite female characters. Toshie Maeda seems much to important and cool I might add to cut. He has a fun moveset and I liked his story mode. I personally do not see him being cut.

IIRCC a sourcebook for DW4 had depicted ages in it, and Sun Jian and Sun Quan were only a few years apart, and Sun Ce was youngest. Its a video game, artistic liscense can beat out logic and realism.

There's really no need to change character's appearance or weapons just because they don't match with the history. Besides, there's nothing wrong with Hideyoshi having a silly and caring kunoichi as his wife. Matches Hideyoshi's personality if you ask me. If I didin't know their history, I could easily believe that they are brothers (especially if they had similiar hair). Also, I think their ages are mentioned in data books.

And umm, the kemari thing is acceptable because he is known for kemari, and he was a strong warlord so a kemari ball and a sword is okay. And NeNe, come on, she is NOT a kunoichi, there are better picks for a kunoichi then her. Like one of the Sanada Kunoichi, or Chiyome. And she doesn't have to match Hideyoshi's personality.

They should revamp her moveset, before her story. I don't care if she gets the most interesting story in the game. It'll mean absolutely nothing if she's still no fun to play.
