SW uses the skill system instead of the equippable items. DW6 only now introduced the skill tree to the DW series, which is still somewhat different than the SW skill system, I believe I believe there were distinct differences between the weapon systems too, IIRC

Emperor's Retainer Posts: 1,712 Group: Members Member #9,675 Joined: September 14, 2007 Gender Male	If you mean like Dynasty Warriors 6 then Im probably one of the very very very few people who actually like it that way I mean, in the other DW games once you get a characters 4th weapon thats most likely the only one you are going to use for that character from there onwards But by having three different types of weapons and complete random probabilty of the skills you can aquire for it you can always keep changing weapon or trying to farm for better ones The only thing I don't like about that is how the weapon models were the same for Free Mode characters, that would be the only thing I would change

I do not think anything found in SSM5 will be in SM3, but then again nothing about the game has been said at all.

Han's Unifier Posts: 1,131 Group: Banned Member #9,993 Joined: September 28, 2007	Definately 4th weapons, and definately no T/S/P nonsense, same as in the renbu topic SW should remain SW and not follow DW in anything, just remain in its own course or rather step a little back from sw2 and more toward 1 again. This game needs atmosphere, i also hope the 4th weapons will be hard to get again, not cakewalk with a leveled up char, i propose to koei they make 4th weapons obtainable in special dream stages you can unlock in characters main storys that in turn (the dreams) force you to use a resetted character for efforts sake. Random stats on 4th weapons are a must, also the WO kind of customizing weapons should never ever return to a warrior game, its a cookbook for overpowerment and finally destroying the whole fun of playing the game, wich is battles going differentely every time you play them based on your actions instead of just running around like captain planet wielding bazookas.
