If it's just a bunch of soldiers, and I'm going pretty fast, I'll swipe through them before getting off to fight.

It would only work for SW characters since DW characters can't really jump on the horse (except the occasional glitch) I usually attempt to run the horse through the crowd near enough to the officer to knock them off their feet, then leap off the horse with a normal jump attack to hit them and continue the combo What ends up happening if my aim is off, is that my horse + character rides into said crowd, stops at the officer and the horse rears back doing its best Red Hare & Lu Bu impersonation, then I get pwned by some random unimpressed peon with a very accurate spear/sword/arrow I think that puts me somewhere between options 2-3 exactly but still some people are too efficient but i like to act like I'm an actual warrior and do as much amazing things as i can, so get knocked off a lot

I always like to damage officers/peons before I attack them by running my horse into them while I get off, this is actually really helpfull on Chaos difficutly.
